VERY BADLY

last update Last Updated: 2025-09-06 14:24:12

I toss and turn on the bed.

Not that the bed was uncomfortable, it is not soft or hard, it’s just right.

My body is thrumming with nervous energy.

It’s been days since I last went to sleep, my body is exhausted but my mind keeps going to the man that wouldn’t let me sleep on the sofa.

I sit up in bed. Eyes falling on the extra long pants he had given me to wear to bed, with the matching shirt.

My face had flamed when his eyes roamed my body, even more so when he nodded in approval. Why was he happy his clothes fit me?

Tentatively, I bring the sleeve of the shirt to my nose, it still smelled faintly of him. Catching myself, my arm falls to my side.

“What are you doing? Tomorrow might need all your energy, go to sleep.” I mutter to myself.

Falling back against the bed, my eyes are glued to the ceiling.

I do a mental check of everything that needs my attention at the moment.

One, two of my team mates are in the hospital, one is looking for Jesse’s hideout.

It randomly hits me tha

  • The chaos of him   AS HE PLEASES

I should have asked for the rules of the game before I agreed to play his game. But it had been too tempting. “I will go first then.” he says, pulling me back to his body. This time I willingly lay beside him. I adjust until our bodies are aligned together perfectly. He looks down at our bodies and back up at my face. Inside his eyes, unnamed emotions swirl about. They are so intense I find myself unable to breathe.“Do you see how perfectly well we fit?”“Is that your question?” I grumble. He rolls his eyes, a small smile playing at the corner of his mouth. He was impressed. I fight the smile that threatens to break out of my face. “Is Fallon really a female or are you pretending she is?”The question makes me do a double take. My head is pushed so far back so I could see his face. He stares at me curiously, as if it were a normal question to ask.Maybe it is, or would have been if he was a friend. But even my friends know nothing about Fallon. “It’s off the record, remember, i

  • The chaos of him   MASTER'S BEDROOM

“Why would I scream? I am an officer, despite what you think.” I say, although my voice is small. A part of me must have remembered exactly what was at stake and decided to act or watch it get ruined. He smirks at me.“I’ll wash up first then.” Like an expired lamp genie, he returns to wherever he came from in the first place. My knees are jelly. I rest against a sheeted furniture behind me.Inside my chest, my heart is slamming heavily.I did it.I didn’t let him win. The mission wasn’t ruined.Maybe this was possible after all. Maybe I could win against Jesse.I jump when he reappears. My eyes almost fall out of their sockets. He is shirtless. With only a towel wrapped around his waist. My jaw unlocks from it’s place, eyes roaming his chest, as if trying to see everything before he covers up. I can’t look away The real test has just began it seems. And I am not so confident about winning anymore. The faint ridge of his collarbone led down to a chest that begged to be touched, li

  • The chaos of him   HANDLE IT

“Welcome to my humble abode.” Jesse exclaims with a flourish. His arms wide as he gestures to small, farm house like home far from the rest of the team. It’s a quaint, wooden cabin with a wrap around porch, the kind you live in when you are seeking a small, quiet family life. Not the type you would expect from someone as obvious as Jesse. “Did you steal this too?”He pouts, arms falling to his side.I look away from the pout. It is incredibly distracting. My new, and solid resolution is to keep my head screwed on tight around him. He is just a mission.Between duty and desire, I choose the badge.I would always choose the law.Yet, every time our eyes lock, I forget which side I’m on. That has to change.“The only thing I want to steal, is your heart, so be ready.”Jake snorts, reminding me of his presence and our plan. The very one he had been skeptical of, but I promised to do my part, since everything is riding on this. My part is simple, keep Jesse busy enough to be distra

  • The chaos of him   SHEEPISH GIGGLE

I pull myself away from him. Clearing my throat, to clear the air and this is a quite a stretch, but my mind too. It actually works because I suddenly remember something from the academy.Turning to him, my eyes take him in, as critically as I can manage. He hasn’t had a shower in a while, neither has he shaved. He should be uncomfortable, plus he would be driving, even his patience must stretch thin somehow, I just have to wear it out. Looking up in the rear view mirror, I see Jake working furiously on his laptop. I sigh inwardly, he would have to see me in the worst state possible.Kelly’s words float back into my mind.My pride means nothing if Jesse chooses not to speak.“You know how to start a car without the keys…” I start. He glances at me with raised brows, lips already raising in a laugh.“I am sure everyone knows how to. Didn’t you learn?”I frown at him in confusion.“Why would I learn to steal someone’s car??”“You have always been a goody two shoes? You never broke

  • The chaos of him   HIS DIRTY THOUGHTS

Even if I have been leader for a while, my leadership style has always been leading the team in the way they wanted to be led. Everyone had to agree on every decision I took as captain. It was more or less just a title. Still, I was at the helm of affairs.Letting him lead me-well us, Jake and I- and leaving everything in his hands was new to me. “I trust you.” Jake had said when I apologized for going with Jesse. His eyes held no judgement, just that look of pure admiration, I had looked away almost immediately. “How long until we get there?” I ask, already itching to be safe.I feel like we are being watched. Maybe it’s pure anxiety from Jesse’s words, or maybe my gut is finally working again, and we are being watched. Looking around, I am grateful for the cover of the night, but it meant we were on the last bit of our extra time. “As soon as we find a car, it should take no more than an hour.” Jesse answers, walking next to me.“Find a car? Like an Uber?”He snorts. “No, are
