Damon POV
It has been a week since Marcus has claimed his Alpha title and position and we returned from our camping trip, but I still couldn’t shake away what Olivia said about a warning from a girl that appeared in her dreams.
And most of all she was real I saw that when I slipped inside Olivia’s mind and I could see she was sincere and meant well, but why would she not come closer and tell her all that in person?
Why would she use the most difficult way that takes lots of energy and power to appear and warn her the way she did?

I couldn’t believe it with my own eyes as I stood there looking at that smiling face of his. Damon was here! He opened the door as Marcus came and took my hand, “Come my love. We need to go.” I blinked and walked ahead with him towards the door, feeling as this isn’t real, but the moment I walked through the door before Marcus, as he let me pass first, I smelled Damon’s familiar scent and without another thought, the realization of the situation being true, finally made me realize as I threw myself into Damon’s embrace. He wrapped his arms around my waist and said, “Don’t worry, you both are getting out now.” I looked up into his eyes, as a gentle smile graced his features, making me smile gratefully back at him.

The air was chilly as we were for a long time riding on the dragon’s back. Two dragons were flying alongside while a huge dark one was on the front leading us to the unknown. Marcus felt a shiver run through my body as I was starting to feel cold, so he pulled me closer to his front and wrapped his arms tighter, securing me in place. The feeling was out of this world, to be in my mate’s embrace, but we all knew that the danger was not gone, just postponed. I turned to look to our side to see my brother on the front with Logan sitting on the back, trying not to be too close to James. The sight was hysterical to witness as the two bickered whole the way from the Elders’ lands.
