Chapter 102

　　The session with Crystella was good last night with the herbs soothing her and her chants rooting her to the reality. Now that she has a clear picture of what her past has been she feels it easier to work with the magic. Knowing how it came to be is like knowing why she should accept it. Crystella was right. She has to ask the magic to help her but still try to keep it under her control. Niya wishes she had a little more time but the air smells different. There is a bite to the cold wind and the moon is almost feverish. They are coming! She knows it in her gut! That is why Chase decided to bring her Clansmen by tonight only. It was hard to say him goodbye, as this is the first time really that they are parting ways after they met. His kiss on her forehead is still imparting love and concern. Luckily the place is close enough that will take only a half a day’s walk to reach there. Marcus accompanied him so it will be okay.
