CHAPTER THIRTY - THREE: NO MORNING PILL

ROSE AMARA POV

I exit the shower with a sigh on my face and cover myself with a towel. Ethan is not there that I can find. He is inside the closet, facing his little area, and is only wearing boxers.

As I approach the door, my steps stutter as I debate whether or not to enter. He does not look into my eyes as he states, "I don't bite.

I move closer till we are in a straight line and I say, "I do."

"It's good to know so you can safeguard your child if you become pregnant."

I take out a pair of basic matching underpants and say, "I'm not pregnant."

“You don’t know that.” He faces me as he shoves his feet into black pants.

I wrapped a towel around my legs and slid my panties up. "I won't let it happen," she said.

"You know, if the child is already formed, the morning-after pill actually kills him, right?"

"Considering you plan to leave, perhaps you ought to start by making yourself feel bad," he suggested.
