As soon as Raven leaves, McCall hurriedly slaps on a hand glove and a nose mask to begin the filtration process. He had been monitoring Raven through the CCTV cameras all day, knowing she would soon get to this stage of the experiment.

This wolfsbane extract which Raven regards as waste is the byproduct he mixed with his meth product and put through a refining stage to create the new drug that Royce desperately wants, enough to kidnap his daughter.

Before Raven came in, he had added more of it to the solution so he can have a larger quantity of the byproduct and be able to create more of the drug but it still won’t be enough, sooner than later, Royce would need more.

He needs a more stable plan to keep getting this byproduct consistently. It’s why he tried to have Raven kidnapped, he would hide under the guise of the same people who had done the robbery for him and make them force her to experiment day and night to get him the byproduct as much as he needed but somehow she got away
