Sketch

"HELLO, good morning," I answered the ringing phone.

["You, get ready now, we are going to the construction site at around 08:30 AM sharp."] It's him.

I wonder why he called me personally when he had a secretary to inform me.

"Yeah, I know, and I'm ready," I answered slightly.

["You don't have to bring your car, we'll just ride in the same van,"] he says.

"Okay," I answered briefly.

["And lastly, don't forget to bring your sketch to show the engineers overseeing the entire construction."]

I rolled my eyes. "Noted, you shouldn't be reminding me of what I have to do because I know what I'm going to do later." he was quiet on the other line. "Don't you have anything to add? I was about to put it down because I'm still busy organizing what I'm going to bring-"

["Go on and drop it."]

I immediately hung up because I had nothing more to say.
