“So what are you having?” My foot masseuse, Anna, asked me.

“A boy and a girl,” I smiled.

“And you are their surrogate right?” She nodded over at Grayson and Lee.

“No actually um…they’re my boyfriends and they both got me pregnant at the same time.”

“So your twins are only half siblings. Oh my. How are you going to explain that to them?”

“Oh um…I guess we haven't really thought about that.”

“Are you even going to tell them they’re twins since they don’t look alike?” She asked curiously.

“Never thought about that,” Lee admitted. “I uh…what age do you think they’ll understand this predicament?”

“I mean it’s not that complicated right?” Grayson asked. “It’s like if someone has a dad and a stepdad.”

“But that’s not exactly the case.” I pointed out.

“It will be when you marry one of us.”

“Sure, but they’re still related to each other. They’re half siblings who shared a womb.” Anna declared. “You don’t want them thinking they’re not really related to each other.”
