The shareholders erupted into wild clapping once Director Evan was dragged out of the boardroom.

"Way to go, Chaitman Romero." They chorused, praising Damien, "Now that's what a leader is supposed to do."

Damien was silent as he listened to the board sing him praises.

Pride straightened his shoulders and made him puff out his chest.

It seemed that Director Evans was really a menace to the company.

Damien was grateful to Zaire for helping him take out such a corrupted shareholder.

Every of the evidence which had just been used against Director Zaire was indeed provided by Zaire, who had warned him about Director Evans as soon as he stepped foot into the company that morning.

"Director Evans directly goes against your authority and needs to be uprooted out at once," Zaire had said to him that morning, "When you were away, he really made things difficult for Lana, always putting her in a tough spot and also made her lose out on some significant deals
