"You can carry his child," the witch said. "If you get pregnant with Austin's baby, the fake mating mark will become permanent. He will be yours forever."

"But how can I get pregnant?" Ariana asked. "Austin doesn't want to be with me like that."

The witch gave Ariana a small bottle with pink liquid inside.

"Put this in his drink," the witch said. "He will fall asleep, and you can make him think you spent the night together. Then, when he wakes up, he will feel guilty and confused. Use that guilt to get closer to him."

"What about getting pregnant?" Ariana asked.
