Ch 9: The Ace

Azrael pov:

"Let's make this quick, yeah?" I said through a com, tapping my ear.

"We're in position." Axe's voice came through my earpiece.

"Lilith?"

"Target spotted. Moving in."

"Claudio?"

"Aye, up top and waiting, Amigo."

Downing the rest of my drink I got up from the bar and moved around the banquet. It's the last day I needed to be in this godforsaken city. Passing through the crowd I bump bodies with Lilith, each of us going different ways.

Moving to the open area I was able to gather eyes on a young woman. Moving towards her I put on my best charm, hoping she wouldn't be so hard to deal with.

"Aren't you ravishing?" My accent thick as my hand is held out for hers. She eyes me before a smile breaks on her face.

"You are?" Her Boston accent is a little heavy with her words.

"Avril Garson." Taking her hand I bring it to my lips and kiss the knuckles. She blushes and giggles, typical.

"Aren't you charming?  What brings you here?" She moves a little closer to me.

"Business, but you happened to catch my eye. Care to dance?" I motion to the floor. She smiles and pulls me towers the multiple duos of people waltzing.

She starts to ramble about something but I tune it out. My eyes flicker up and I can make out Lilith leading a heavy set man out of the place. Smiling, I give my most charming smile to the woman.

"You make it hard to not ravish you here and now." I husk out my words, her body shivering under my wandering touch.

"A little handsy." She smirked.

"By all means, stop me." I wished this woman was Amilia instead, I much prefer her feisty attitude towards things.

"I'd prefer not to. More would be better." She whispered in my ear.

She presses herself closer to me, almost grinding on me. Keeping my kindness I pull us from the group and to a more secluded area. Once away from prying eyes she jumped me with a kiss.

Her eyes shut as she embraced me fully, I couldn't bother to close mine. She didn't taste like Amilia and I hated it. Pinning her to a wall I keep her hands above her head, restrained with one of my own.

Reaching into my pocket I pulled a syringe from it, uncapping it as her eyes went wide in fear I plunged it into her neck before she could scream. She gave a deft cry, her body going limp quickly.

"Elevator is clear." Rose's voice rang out.

"Great. Now take this bitch off my hands." I spoke out quietly. Like a shadow, Axe's large figure slips from the darkness. Lifting her onto his shoulder I was able to leave.

I straightened out my suit while I walked back to the venue. Sliding through the crowd I exit out the same door that Lilith did. A long hallway with a Elevator at the end fills my vision.

Striding down it I call for the elevator and step in when it's done. I waited for the minute to pass patiently. The ding altered me and I was stepping out just as quick.

It was only one door, the penthouse of this building. There was some ruckus coming from the otherside which brought a smile to my face. Letting myself in I found Lilith kicking the last guard unconscious, grabbing a gun from between her breasts and shooting him in the head.

"A little sloppy but it's expected." I chuckled. Taking off my blazer and folding it up nicely.

"Says you. You're about to get messier." She threw herself on the couch, sitting very unladylike.

"Touchè."

There was a gagged and restrained man in the middle of the room. He whimpered and struggled against the handcuffs and gag. Moving to him I remove his gag and place my hands in my pocket.

"The fuck! Let me go! You have any-" Slapping him across the face seemed to shut him up quickly.

"I don't give a fuck. I'm here because you really like being a piece of shit… and so does your family." Pulling out a pack of cigarettes I lit on up and inhaled the smoke.

"The fuck are you talking about?!" He sounded frantic but I could smell a liar.

"Children's hospital? Southside Wendy? Mayor Johnson? None of these ring a bell, Frank?" Bringing my cig to his cheek I put it out on him making him yell.

"I-I don't know anything!" Stepping back I smacked him and pulled a knife from my waistband.

He looked nervous but I just smiled, the knife lodging into his leg a second later. He screamed bloody murder but it just made me happy.

"You see, you promised a lot of money to that hospital and it never arrived. Southside Wendy was 7 when she went missing… funny how she shows up dead a few months later with your signature missing toes and fingers trick. Let's not forget you got Johnson killed because he wasn't someone you could twist around that fat fucking finger of yours."

Ripping the knife from his leg I dragged it across his fat face, digging it in a little deeper as I spoke.

"You have no proof." He hissed, trying to hold some power In this situation. Snapping my fingers, Lilith came up to me with a phone in hand.

Pulling up camera footage I showed him live footage of his daughter being held hostage. This seemed to piss him off. He cussed me out, shouted awful things and spat like a wild animal.

"If you wont answer then… I guess she might." I smiled, waving the phone in his face.

"Fine! I did it, you happy you sick fuck. Now let her go." Handing the phone back I lifted another cig to my lips, a smile plaster on as I waited.

"No… see, this is what I'm gonna do. First I'm gonna fuck you up, them I'm gonna donate all your money, then I'm gonna kill you. People like you, ain't shit." I crouched down and smiled at him.

I would guess this is when he realized his fate, tears slipped from his eyes quickly. Holding my knife tightly I rip it from his leg and take my time torturing him, making him understand his sins.

____________

"Are we good to go?" Lilith asked as I pulled my jacket on.

"Yeah. Boys, clean up your ends and let's go home."

They confirmed and I was confident enough to know Axe killed the daughter and Claudio sniped the wife. Exiting the venue we take the limo we arrived in, not a single person inside truly understanding what happened.

I had a meeting to attend before being able to go home. I felt irritated at being away for so long, I'd much prefer teasing Amilia. Speaking of which my phone buzzed with a notification from said minx.

Princess: 'Send me 10k and I'll send you a surprise.'

What a greedy woman. Money was no issue for me nor did I care to really have as much as I did. It was nice but It grew boring after some time. Sending the money over I waited for her reply eagerly, this seemed to piss Lilith off.

"That whore of yours texting again?" She scoffed, adjusting her makeup in a mirror.

"She has a name, Lily. " I brushed off her insult easily.

"Whores are irrelevant to me. Especially ones that steal." She clicked her little mirror down, eyes angry with me.

"And what did she steal from you?" I gave her my attention.

She kept her mouth shut and crossed her arms angrily. I knew she meant me but I didn't have interest in her or Axe in such a way. Sure sex with them is good and all but I don't see Amilia as just that.

That woman could decline me for the rest of my life and I'd still be enraptured by her. She was breathtaking, her skin tan, eyes cold yet so warm. She wasn't a normal woman, she had so much I wanted to discover and so much to hide.

I'm not one to usually do a background check but I did for her, I was just so curious. The problem was there wasn't much to find about her, she seemed to be hidden and or off the grid for a good period of her life.

Mysterious, Hot-headed, bad-mouthed, greedy, bitchy, funny, and oh so confident. She was a woman I just had to have, nothing could stop me from getting her.

My phone buzzed and a picture of her in dark purple lingerie on her bed was sent to me. She took it in the mirror, her body laying sideways, her free hand on her hip, a smirk decently hidden behind her phone. Biting my lip I saved the photo and put it as my home screen. I would cherish it, plus no one goes on my phone.

Me: 'I'm gonna rip it off you when I get home.'

Princess: 'HR is gonna have a field day with you.'

I chuckled and replied back, she didn't like to wait and who am I to do so?

Me: 'Wait till they hear how I fuck you.'

Princess: 'Like a little bitch? I could have told them that myself.'

Me: 'You're in for it when I'm back.'

Princess: 'Better keep your promises.'

She attached another photo of her in the sexy outfit. This time she sat in front of her mirror, her top gone and her legs spread for me to see her clothed core. I physically ached to not be able to taste her, it pissed me off more that I was far away.

"Let's go dumbass. I wanna sleep already." Lily stepped out of the car. Sighing, I put my phone away and followed her.

It was a nice Italian restaurant, it was closed to the public but we took the back entrance. 5 men sat at a table in the back, they ate their food as they talked. Noticing us they looked uneasy.

Sitting myself at the table I kept my hands clasped in my lap, a wide smile on my face. They each pulled out guns and set them on the table, frowns on their faces.

"What the hell you doing here?" A man in a tracksuit asked with a grunt.

"I came to let you know that Frank Castello is dead." I didn't bother beating around the bush.

They eyed each other before picking up their guns and aiming them at my head. I laughed as they cocked them, waiting for something.

"Why shouldn't we kill you now?"

"You think I'm dumb enough to come here unarmed or unwarranted? Tell me… how's your dinner?" I smiled widely at them, fear striking their eyes.

"You're bluffing."

Pulling out five small vials I held them up, they looked more scared as I showed my cards to them.

"I didn't come to kill or fight. I came to warn, so listen closely, got it?" They lowered their guns and nodded quickly.

"If any of you or your family decided to fuck around like Castello did… you're gonna experience the calling card of my group. So I suggest you all each donate a million to a charity of your choice. If I found out you didn't do it and I'll be visiting you personally."

Standing up I pushed my chair in and tossed the vials on the table, leaving them stunned in fear. Lily followed me as we took our leave.

Finally, I can go home.

Amilia pov:

Finishing my makeup I received a text from Whitlock to meet her outside. Scoffing, I slipped on some new heels I bought and hung a purse on my arm. Exiting my room I strode past my roommate and her friends.

"I'm leaving. Don't wait up."

Exiting my apartment I saw a nicely dressed Azrael leaning against her car, her arms crossed as she waited. She had some black jeans, a white button up, leather boots, and sunglasses on. It was simple but I liked the way she looked.

"God you're beautiful." She gave her cocky smile to me. Rolling my eyes I pulled her in for a brief kiss, snatching the sunglasses off as I pulled away.

"These are cute. I'm taking them." Slipping them on my face I watched as she smiled.

"Ready?" She asked, opening my door for me.

"Where are we going?" I checked my phone, ignoring almost everything else.

"Food, entertainment, then back to my place. My dogs are excited to meet you." Glancing a look at her I witnessed the most stunning smile.

I really hated to admit that she looked so stunning right now, her eyes showed nothing but honesty. Feeling my face grow hot I pushed her face away, hoping to distance myself.

"Just drive."
