Fresh from Ethan's room, Zea dashed toward the staircase, just in time as Kaito activated the CCTV cameras. She strode down the hallway swiftly, but came to a halt when something caught her eye.

It was a familiar face. A face she hasn't seen for a long time.

Ice gripped her palms, a nervous tremor clawing up her chest. She warily tracked the man down the dim passage. Her throat went parched in an instant. Her heart hammered in her ears.
