I smiled wistfully at the memory, sighing as I hugged my knees to my chest. I was currently sitting up on my bed. It's been two days since that-.....day.

Ronan woke up an hour before me, staring then kissed my tears away. My chest burned at the sorrow consuming me. No remains. Not one was found. After the ceremony, the moment I was in the safety of my room did I break down again and again.

Ronan left a couple of minutes ago to grab us something to eat. I glanced at the window, sun shining brightly but not one soul in our pack feels really cheerful as of this moment. It was as my gaze drifted off to a random portrait did I realized something, "His parents!!"

I smacked myself and sat up. I was so busy drowning in grief that I neglected Ronan's feelings.

Now I knew why he looked more....blank. His movements were slow, almost mechanical.
