*BEFORE THE BATTLE*
"I'll return with your food."
I stared at the shackles before I raised my gaze and looked around the room.
My gaze landed on a window and I could see an orange color with hues of pink and purple painted the sky. The sun was slowly setting andI would admire the beautiful view yet I can't.
I scooted back until I was against the wall and my eyes trained at the window. I rested my arms on top of my knees and heaved a sigh. The sudden growl of my stomach made me jump and I cradled my stomach.
"Oh my pup. Are you hungry?? Just wait a moment and I promise food will come."
I whispered, smiling down as I rubbed my stomach in slow, small circles before a sudden thought made me frown.
'Does Dylan know I'm pregnant? If he does, what does he plan to do? Is he gonna kill my pup before he/she's born? Or what if he'll use my pup?'

My doctor told me I had it for more than four years & if I wasn't taken to the hospital, I would've died from Kidney Failure but thank God!☺️ This chapter is long, I'm so sorry, so there will be 7 parts in total as this chapter contains 10,000 words. ZANNICUS' POV: I groaned, waking up to the shrill sound of my alarm. 'Sweet fiddlesticks, I hate mornings.'
