New!
I can't believe I almost forgot that Zannicus can't show his wolf just yet and I panicked there for a second but Zannie did some quick thinking. Much to our relief. Both of us are now standing- well, I'm standing - while Zannie was pacing infront of me as we waited for some news. I wonder what they found. It's been 10 minutes since they left so they should be on their way back by now. "Zannicus, will you please calm down and stay still? You're making me dizzy and I'm not even the one pacing." "I'm sorry Nic. It's just-.... it's quiet." He frowned as he looked at the forest. "Quiet?" He nodded, "Yeah, around the forest. And in the mind link. No one is answering me." I tried to mind link Gabe but no answer. I tried Isaac, nothing. Not even Francis or Seth which was a bit alarming. We waited for a few more tense minutes before I clicked my tongue and moved to see for myself what exactly was taking them so long. However, rustling from behind us caused us to whirl around into our fi
'You shouldn't be like this, you're moving on Zannicus. It's time to let go. Nica is blessed to have him and you know Seth will take very good care of her.' I'm currently resting beside the river, looking up at the orange, pink-tinged sky. I sighed, watching as the sun slowly sets on the horizon, the wind blowing softly through my fur. It's a good thing my schedule at the hospital is clear for now. The bushes on my left rustled alarmingly and I stood up in a flash, waiting with bated breath for whoever is going to come out. A small white loaf with long fluffy ears came hopping out, it's pink nose twitching before hopping away. I blinked, 'That little bunny startled me.' I shook my head and turned back with the intentions to return to my position when my jaw fell open. I'm sure I look hilarious right now, but I can't find my current situation humourous at the moment. "Here. Change into these." He threw the clothes in front of me then settled down on the grass merely a feet away fr
SETH: Jun brought me dinner as I refused to leave my mate's side. I thanked him, "I'm glad Nica's alive and safe." He smiled as I settled back down on the chair. "I know. I thought I lost her forever." I fixed the blanket by her feet. "But you didn't. She's here now and you better take good care of her." His gaze hardened, "If you don't, I'll cut off your hands and cook it then feed it to you." I found myself leaning far back and shivering at his stare. Suddenly, his expression shifted far too quickly for my comfort, which I'm sure made my entire spine ripple, as he smiled sweetly before turning around to leave. "Can you stay for a bit? I like your company." Terror-inducing stares aside, it's true though. Jun tilted his head thoughtfully before closing the door and walking back over. I found out from Theo that my mate hangs out with Jun and the other Omegas a lot; cooking together and playing with the pups along with Zannie and Nic. I mean, I have been seeing them, I just didn'
"You're lying." Almost everyone flinched at their Alpha's tone while Nica merely frowned but there was a hint of sympathy in her eyes, "I'm not. It's true. You have a br-" "NO! IT CAN'T BE! I don't have a brother!!" This time Nica flinched as Ronan's hands balled into tight fists. "YES YOU DO!!" Nica yelled back which stunned Ronan. "I-" She sighed, "After I escaped the cells, I went and hid behind another building that seems to be ideal for meetings and such, given the number of chairs and a large oblong table." Zannie and Nic sat up with interest, "There were two people in there; one voice sounded more deeper and older. I couldn't see their faces. I heard another voice, this one seems more younger and he was asking this older man about when should they be leaving." Nica looked at Ronan, "The elder said that they'd be leaving that night to keep watch of something, I don't know what. Then he inquired about this younger man's brother." Nica paused for a bit, her eyes never lea
Eyes squinted at the sun as it streams through the swaying leaves. He intended to stretch when something prevented him from doing so. He looked down to find his beloved omega sleeping beside him and their hands entwined. Ronan sighed as he stroked his sleeping beauty's cheek, 'Comforted me yet again.' He watched Zannie sleep for a long while. When he began to stir and stretch and blearily opened one eye, Ronan smiled in greeting. "How long have you been awake?" Zannicus groggily rubbed his eyes and Ronan swore that voice turned him on so fast, he felt a bit winded but he ignored it and propped his head on his head, "A while. I like watching you sleep." Zannicus narrowed his eyes playfully then smiled, "Creep." "Hey!" His mate laughed softly as Ronan stood up and dusted himself off before helping Zannie up. Zannicus gladly took his mate's outstretched hand and stood beside him. When he looked up, lips molded against his own prompting a soft hum from him. Ronan pulled away, "Tha
{1st Part} I remember this guy. At first we assumed he was a rogue, but our wariness of his presence was unnecessary when Ryder greeted him warmly. I never knew who he was nor where he came from, but I do know that he is someone of higher power due to his aura. There was never a day that he failed to visit. Until we heard about a fight that had ensued between him and Ryder. We got so used to him coming that it felt strange when he merely disappeared after a heated argument with our former Alpha. As we barged through the hospital doors, Nic ran ahead to an empty to set up while we helped Zannie transfer the man onto the bed. Here, we stepped back and let Zannie do his work. A collective sound of shocked gasps echoed through the room as soon as his shirt was cut open. His lanky body littered with both old and fresh scars, burned scars that seemed alarmingly similar to a hot poker, various sizes of cuts on his ribs and legs and purple-ish bruises decorated his entire arms and chests.
{2nd Part} ______ Blood stained the white - gray wolf's snout as he threw the limp body of a rogue aside. 'What the h*ll? Don't these guys stop? I was in the middle of a delicious meal!' Snarling, he snapped the neck of one rogue and dodged an incoming attack from another. They snarled at each other before Gabe lunged forward and ripped his opponent's ear off eliciting a pained yowl but it was cut short by the larger wolf's jaws wrapped tightly around it's neck. He let the body go as soon as it went limp and quickly looked around to see if anyone needed aid and quickly, his hazel eyes spotted someone struggling heavily with two. 'Isaac.' With a growl, Gabe ran towards them and jumped on the back of one rogue about to take Isaac out from the back. The rogue yelped in surprise and desperately tried to shake Gabe off. One of Gabe's legs slipped off right beside the rogue's neck, who saw it and instantly bit down so hard, Gabe was forced to let go from his hold and growled ferociou
{1st Part} ______ Two days have been quite a stressful time for everyone. After last night's events, another surprise attack from the rogues occured early in the morning. But thank the Goddess we were still awake and that the pack members, those who weren't admitted to the hospital, were still in the secret rooms. I made the right decision to tell everyone to spend the night here. Or else, there would've been more casualties. After disposing the bodies, we went into literal beast mode and planned, strategized and train like crazy! My beloved Zannie was going back and forth from helping us train, planning a defense for what he says a surprise for the next attack, and to the hospital. With the pack doctor gone, my beautiful mate had to replace him. Of course there are other doctors, but they have just graduated literally two months ago- I sent over thirty five warriors to safely escort them back home -and none were as experienced as Zannie. He's been assisting in the hospital for a
