Chapter 182: The Untimely Truth

“Oh, my apologies Sett! I must have been hit by the memories of old a little too strongly.” Azula said as she wiped the tears off her face.

However, Sett wasn’t convinced by such reasons. Sure, you could cry when you’re hit with nostalgia, but that is out of a joyful, euphoric feeling that overwhelms you to the brink of crying. But in Azula’s case, Sett noticed that her tears weren’t a product of such positive feelings.

In fact it was the total opposite. Sett sensed that, the moment he saw her eyes devoid of life. An imperfect match for her ocean blue eyes, that seemed so full of life. He thought that whatever was bothering her, seemed like a burden that was still weighing down his Aunt, even until now.

“Are you sure you’re alright Aunty?” Sett asks, deeply in concern for what Azula is feeling.
