019: Chasing cars

Again a few days passed in which I suffered bitterly. Jakob had still not contacted me. It was Friday, May 24th, and although I felt a strong longing for the man, I was able to greet the morning with a smile. The beautiful weather gave me strength for some reason.

I whistled softly to myself as I got out of bed and walked to my closet. After a bit of pondering, I finally decided on red skinny jeans and a turquoise top. After that I slipped into my flip flops to check on the post office. Perhaps I shouldn't have done that because there was indeed a letter for me. Unfortunately without a sender, although I could have guessed who the mail came from.

Anyway, amazed, I went into the kitchen, where Justin had already prepared breakfast for both of us. "Mhh, that smells good!" I greeted him with a smile and sat down at the table. Jus was passionate about cooking, which was a huge advantage for me. So I wasn't the only one who had to take care of the food.
