LOGIN***CALISTA'S POV***
I ran my fingers through my hair, trying my best to hide my fear and frustration as I walked into the airport.Dressed in a long red open back gown that tightly embraced my body, highlighting my curves, I suddenly felt relieved that Raviel hadn't left any mark on me for the past few days.
I walked bravely toward where Severin told me he was, and I soon saw him sitting while chatting with an old woman.
I stood by a pillar, rested my back on it as I watched him...
Severin was really handsome. His sharp features would have worked perfectly as a Mafia lord, but the touch of softness made him look more like a loving husband. His tenderness whenever he conversed with people could make anyone lose their heads for him... He was my perfect gift___
Severin seemed to notice my presence as he raised his head and looked in my direction. He flashed a pleasant smile and stood up. I saw him say something to the old woman before walking toward me in large strides.
Opening his arms, he wrapped me in a tight and warm hug. "I missed you." He whispered, kissing my hair.
I smiled, wrapped my arms around his waist, and returned the hug. "I missed you a lot, too," I replied.
I indeed missed him a lot. Despite everything I did with Raviel, I still missed Severin so much.
He broke the hug and held my hand, the other hand holding his bag. "Let's go home. You look beautiful." He pointed out.
I laughed, feeling happy and contented. "You caught a brilliant fish, you know?" I winked.
Severin pressed his lips in a thin line. "No. My babe is more than a fish. She's a huge dragon, instead."
My eyes widened.
"Who else but my woman owns the largest art empire in the country? Painting, singing, acting, or even dancing. She's perfect in everything." He planted a kiss on the back of my hand and smiled. "I love you, Cal."
I looked into his sincere eyes, and my heart clenched. "I love you so much more, Severin." This was my true feeling.
Severin kissed the corner of my mouth and led me out of the airport. We saw our car waiting at the other side of the road, and he led me toward it. "I will drive." He suggested.
I snapped out of my daze and raised a brow. "Who was it that spent hours on a plane to get here? I will drive instead." I pushed him to the other side of the car and quickly rushed to sit behind the wheel.
Severin sat beside me and smiled. "Then, please."
I started the car and drove to the hotel we had booked for our stay, and I led the way to our suite. Opening the door, I flashed a smile at Severin, who was behind me.
"Neat, as always." He commented, smiling.
My heart clenched, and my smile dimmed... I wasn't neat___ I just didn't visit the room often.
I took his bag from him and helped him arrange his things. "How was the project? Has it been signed?" I asked while setting his things in the closet, but there was no response.
Turning around, I saw Severin stepping out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his narrow waist, water dripping from his wet hair, down to his firm chest muscles, forming a distinct line along his eight packs, and hiding into the line of his mermaid curve that had been covered by a white towel.
My eyes lingered on the towel, suddenly feeling the urge to curse.
Severin laughed. He walked toward me, pulled my hand, and I landed in his embrace. He placed a soft kiss on my lips, his cold and soft lips pressed on mine. "Wanna see?" He whispered.
My eyes brightened, and my cheeks turned red. I pursed my lips, pouting. "It's been more than a week already. I'm starting to forget what it looks like." I complained.
Severin poked my nose with his finger and laughed. "Waking the beast, huh?" He captured my pouting lips and kissed hard. His warm tongue entered my mouth and linked with mine, swirling in a circle in my mouth.
His fingers, which were cold due to the bath, slowly moved to my breasts, and he fondled them.
I wasn't on bra. His coolness directly hit through the gown, and I moaned into his mouth.
Severin moved his hand downward, he raised my gown and placed his hand on my bare waist, rubbing it. "You have a call." He whispered.
I opened my eyes slightly and shook my head. "Leave it," I replied and deepened the kiss.
Severin's hand left my bare waist and he grabbed my hips with his two hands instead. "It might be important." He pressed on.
I groaned, feeling displeased. I looked into his eyes, trying to plead my way out.
"No. It might be Celine. Your job is important, too." He persisted.
Feeling annoyed but with no way to vent, I turned around to pick up my phone, which was on his bag, while cursing whoever was calling at the moment, but my heart ceased when I saw the caller.
My fingers froze for a moment and I frowned. "A moment, please," I said to Severin who had taken a few steps back and was drying his hair with a towel.
He nodded, not saying a word.
I looked at him one last time before stepping out of the suite. I couldn't answer the call anywhere near Severin...
The moment I closed the door, I ended the call and decided to text the scum. *Fuck off.*
*I don't want to fuck off. I want to fuck you instead.* He replied.
"Damn you, Raviel. Severin's around!*
A low chuckle rang in the silent corridor and raising my head, I saw Raviel waving his phone before me.
My blood boiled, and anger surged in me as I stormed toward him. "The heck are you doing?!" I shouted at him.
Raviel held my waist and slowly kissed my neck. "I missed you." He suddenly said.
I stiffened.
"I want to fuck you." He grabbed my breast and pressed hard. His tongue licked my neck down to my cleavage. "I'm horny." He whispered.
My temperature rose and I swallowed hard. I closed my eyes, feeling torn. "We can't," I replied but did nothing to push him off. "There's CCTV around here." I pointed out.
"I know. Let's go to my suite then." He suggested.
For a moment, I was about to nod. I needed him, too and I was fully aroused. However, thinking about Severin who was waiting for me in the room, my heart turned cold.
"Stop," I ordered. "Get the fuck off me.'
Raviel's hand, which was playing with my breast, stopped, and he slowly raised his head. His blue eyes held mine for a moment before he nodded and turned around. "I'm leaving tonight." He left his word behind and walked away.
I stared at his cold back and my heart lurched. Shaking my head, I arranged my dress and opened the door, returning to my suite... Severin was waiting for me.
"You're back." Severin smiled. He was styling his hair.
I nodded and returned the smile. "Going out?"
"Yes. Let's go get the things for our wedding. We are registering the wedding in three days." He announced.
My heart skipped a beat.
RAVINEI slumped on the ground in my father's office. Staring at the calm man who was working away on his laptop like nothing was wrong, I couldn't help but feel nauseous. I'd always known he was wicked. Someone who could kill his wife because of properties, how holy could he be?But I'd never thought he was such a monster. My mother was in a pool of blood. Her skin was torn and slashed. She looked like she was on her last breath, but his beatings never stopped. The look in his eyes... He... he was enjoying it. The blood. The muffled scream. The struggling. He seemed to be enjoying it all. "Psycho." I blurted out, crawling backward to escape from him. His fingers moved. He lazily rubbed his brows and looked at me. "Someone," He called. Immediately, the door opened, and a man in a black suit walked in. "Sir." He said with a bow. My father glanced at me. His gaze was emotionless, like I meant nothing to him. He had always given me this look. Since I was little, I'd gotten used
DANTEI stared at the pictures strewn across my table. My expression remained unreadable. As expected of my child. She knew how to pick her games and win them. This time, she won thoroughly. "You said this was sent by Calista, right?" I asked the butler, standing at the entrance of my study. He nodded, fear palpable in his eyes as he bowed his head. "Yes, master. The eldest miss gave this as a gift to Madam on her birthday." He explained. My lips curled in a smile. Brilliant. Of all things she could have sent, she sent this___ something meant to wound without ever showing blood. A gift wrapped in luxury and poison. I rose to my feet. "Call the Madam," I said to the butler, who immediately escaped the room after a deep bow. I returned my attention to the photographs. Yacht. Hotels. Bars. Boutiques. Private pools. Different men. Different nights. Using my money to indulge her lust. I sighed softly. Accepting my daughter's challenge was one thing, but tolerating a cheating
RAVIELNick and I approached the mansion steadily. We entered without anyone knowing, not even the heavy security found out about the intrusion. But it also made me understand that the rat was just as I had predicted. He was a trained person and must have been sent to take Calista down. I just never imagined that he would act so fast. "She really has too many enemies. But I like it." I mumbled as we hid behind a car and silently watched as the rat tried to open Calista's door. Nick glanced at me. "Should I stop him?" He asked. My brows furrowed, and I hesitated. Though I would have loved to see what he wanted from Calista's house, the thought of letting him into Calista's house made me slightly uncomfortable. After a while, I nodded. Nick immediately approached him. He stealthily moved toward the door, but just as he was about to attack the rat, the rat seemed to notice something and dodged
RAVIELI rubbed my forehead weakly as I sat in my car with my eyes closed. The meeting had taken too long. More than I'd have appreciated. Thankfully, we were able to seal the deal. "Is Don leaving tonight?" I asked Nick, who was driving. "Yes. He should leave the country tonight. What do you say? Should we send someone after him?" He asked. My eyes parted, and displeasure rose in my chest. "Why should we do that?" My tone deepened. Nick glanced at me and quickly bowed. "Sorry, boss. I didn't mean it that way." I stared at him for a while, and a low groan escaped my lips. Nick was beginning to lose focus. "When we return, you should go back for training," I muttered and closed my eyes again. "Yes, sir." He replied. I rubbed my temple and crossed my arms. I'd be returning in a while, but... Calista..."Where is Calista?" I asked. "She's in a hotel. The men said she trailed her husband to the Love and Moon Hotel. Do you want to go to her?" Nick asked. My temple pulsed. Tr
CALISTA'S POV "You, what do you know about Selene?" I asked with a racing heart. Selene... I should have forgotten her. I shouldn't have thought about her again, but when I saw the attendant's pale face when she was being taken out by Celine, something clicked in my head, and my heart trembled. It wasn't an illusion. I wasn't imagining things. The attendant... she looked so much like Selene!I hadn't noticed it initially as my thoughts were muddled, but when I saw that face again, the paleness after losing so much blood, what I saw wasn't the attendant but... Selene. The same Selene that haunted my childhood...The same Selene who told me about Severin today. What was their connection? My palms became sweaty as I waited for his reply. Severin seemed to freeze. He stared at me with shock and surprise in his eyes. For a long while, he couldn't say a word. And my he
SEVERIN I couldn't believe what was going on before me. My heart trembled, and guilt formed a knot in my chest. Was this my fault? Had I gone so far that Calista had gone crazy?Seeing the blood pooling up underneath the informant girl, I couldn't help but turn my head away. Knowing that making a call could annoy Calista more. What was more important at the moment was to appease Calista even though I had no idea how she followed me here. "Clean your hands with this." I handed a wipe to her with a fawning smile on my face. God knew I had never acted this way toward anyone in my life. Not even my old monster of a father could make me feel this way. However, looking at Calista at the moment, my palms sweated. Not from fear but from someone hidden within. Excitement. Calista was always gentle and easygoing. Despite being the daughter of a demon like Dante, she was too cool. Every time, I couldn't help but wonder how she was able to survive for so long. Without a doubt, I knew she
