Chapter 22

Suki must have seen it wrong. There was no way Sean would still have the courage to look for me. Not after he dumped me at the hostel, and the day he married Jessie. My relationship with Sean has ended for a long time. Then why did he secretly return? What does he want to destroy again?

"You've worked hard, Angel."

Steve's deep voice interrupted my daydreams. My hand slipped away from the computer mouse, and stood up from the chair to bow politely. He's my boss - he's a lawyer and owner of the law firm where I worked for the past month.

"For the letter from Mrs. Grace I have received it. So tomorrow you can go directly to the Court." I said, handing him the document. He took it, then his eyes looked several times over to my desk made up of piles of paper.
