Jayden tightened his fist on the wheel, his jaws clenched together and his eyes squinted as he stared at the restaurant he was parked in front of. The veins in his neck throbbed as he thought of Nicholas' presence in Diane’s office. He remembered ho badly his hand shook and how he ached to throw, at least, one punch on his face.

He still couldn’t get over the fact that Diane would be choosing Nicholas over him. He had always thought that Diane and Nicholas never liked each other and that if he played his cards right, Diane could be his. But they went on that fucking road trip and come back closer than ever, goddamn it! He slammed his fist on the on the car board and groaned out loud.
