This morning the atmosphere in the dining room was tense and quiet. Grace was still wondering silently about her own feelings. Had she gone mad? Why were her feelings for Shane different now? Had they spent too much time together?

"What's wrong with you?" Margaret asked when she saw Grace just stirring her food.

Grace didn't answer because she was pensive. She didn't hear anything.

"Grace..." Margaret tapped Grace gently on the shoulder, making the woman startle and turn her head.

"What's wrong, Grandma?" Grace asked very softly.

"What's wrong with you? Is there something you're thinking about?" Margaret asked with a probing look.

Shane and Jackson both turned to look at Grace. Jackson thought that Grace was acting like that because of what happened this morning. Grace must be angry with him because he had slept in the same bed with her without permission. Meanwhile, Shane was guessing what happened. He was shocked when the hospitals said that Jackson was not related to the baby. He was not the biological father.Shane crumpled the file in his hand very roughly. His feelings were even more confused now. He wanted to know exactly what had happened. He wanted to know who was behind all this."Go back there and ask them to do a DNA test with Grace.     The baby's cries broke the silence of the night. The nanny tried to soothe him, but the baby kept crying without stopping.The cries woke Shane and his parents from their sleep.
