After the day of their engagement meeting and unexpected encounter, Krystal tried his possible best to avoid Diago. For three days, his world felt peaceful, beautiful and silent. With no crimson eyes staring into his soul or suffocating pheromones and dangerous smiles.

Each and every time a servant brought news of the Veydrake family’s gifts, letters, or invitations, he immediately rejected them without hesitation. From flowers, to rare jewelries, expensive fabrics imported from the northern empire and even dinner.

“This is getting ridiculous…” Krystal groaned as he buried his face into the pillow. Nothing about the saga made sense anymore.

The two barely tolerated each other, especially Diago, he couldn’t stand Caspian in the manhwa before the engagement eventually became a complete disaster. But now, the future tyrant was practically courting him. And aggressive at that.

“Young Master.” A sudden knock echoed through the room which made him sit upright instantly

“What now?” He frowned. Just then, the maid nervously entered with a black box embroided with a silver ptterns in his hands.

“This arrived from the Veydrake estate.”

“Take it back.” He said, heading off into the washroom without a second glance at it or the maid. Soon, the sound of the water droplets filled the room.

“I-I tried, Young Master…” He said and that darkened his expression.

“Then burn it or throw it away.” He intuitively replied without a second thought which made the maid nearly burst into tears.

 “It contains the imperial sapphire.”

The room instantly went silent with the announcement of the imperial sapphire. That when Krystal rushed in, slowly gazing down at the box again.

The imperial sapphire was one of the rarest jewels in the empire. A jewel so rare that even royal families fought wars over stones of similar quality. Diago only gifted it once to the person he became obsessed with later in the story.

“No way…” He whispered and with trembling hands, he carefully opened the box. There it was, a breathtaking silver necklace with a deep blue gemstone which glowed beneath the sunlight like a captured moon. Just then, a note beneath caught his attention.

“You rejected everything else. I’m curious if you’ll reject something chosen personally by me.” It read and his soul nearly ascended.

“This man is insane.”

The maid hesitated awkwardly beside him. “Young Master… should I prepare a response?”

“Yes,” Krystal immediately answered which made the maid almost jump, with relief crossing his face. But then, the moment was short lived

“Tell him…” He briefly paused before narrowing his eyes. “Tell him thank you.” The maid sighed in relief and Krystal smirked.

“Then tell him I sold it.” His maid almost collapsed.

“Y-Young Master?!” He called but before Krystal could continue speaking, another servant suddenly rushed into the room. She was looking all pale and washed.

“Young Master Caspian!”

 “What happened?” He frowned.

“T-The Young Master of the Blanchett family is here.” His expression changed instantly.

“Elias Blanchett.” He was the least person he had expected. One of the empire’s most admired young omegas. We don’t refer to a male as beautiful but Elias was really beautiful, elegant and so intelligent that he eventually became one of Diago’s political allies.

“…Why is he here?” The servant awkwardly hesitated before finally answering.

“He said he came to congratulate you on your engagement.” This made Krystal nearly laugh.

“Congratulations? Please…” He knew it was a lie. Nobles only visited each other for only three reasons: Power, Scandal, Or desire. “Send him away.” He commanded.

“I’m afraid I can’t do that.” A smooth voice suddenly echoed from the doorway, invading to which he instantly looked up but froze.

Elias Blanchett stood there, dressed in white and gold. He looked almost unreal beneath the sunlight pouring through the windows. His blond hair framed sharp but with delicate features and his golden eyes carried softness which was capable of fooling anyone, except Krystal.

“You may leave us, now” he said to the maids who instinctively bowed and left.

“Young Master Caspian,” Elias greeted softly as he uninvitedly stepped inside. “You’ve become difficult to meet lately.”

Krystal forced a polite smile. “And yet you still managed.”

Elias laughed, just then, the necklace box on the bed caught his. And the moment he recognized the imperial sapphire, his expression spontaneously stiffened and he directly stopped in front of him.

“So, the rumors were true,” Elias quietly murmured.

“Rumors?” He tilted his head in confusion.

“That Young Master Diago has become quite fond of you.” He briefly added. His golden eyes remained locked on Krystal as he slowly closed the distance between them. His smile thinner each step he took.

Krystal staggered back as he leaned in.

“You should be careful,” Elias continued calmly as his hand rested gently behind his waist. “Many people were hoping to stand beside the future head of the Veydrake family.”

“And?” he asked calmly and Elias slowly stepped closer.

“People become jealous when something valuable is taken from them.” He leaned over his ears. “You’re even prettier up close,” he whispered.

Krystal’s breath remained caught in his throat, he didn’t see that coming. The manhwa never had something like that. No, he thought, that was absolutely out of line. One obsessive male lead was already ruining his life, he never asked for a second one.

“Young Master Elias flatters too much,” He finally answered.

“No.” Elias smiled faintly. “I simply appreciate beautiful things.” He gently brushed a strand of hair off his face which made him flinch. That was absolutely scandalous but Elias didn’t care at all. His eyes rather darkened as he stared at Krystal.

“I was genuinely disappointed when I heard about your engagement,” he softly admitted. He sounded sincere and that made his heart skip.

“T-There’s a problem!” A servant rushed into the room in panic which brought their attention on him. He looked seconds away from death itself.

“Young Master Diago has arrived.” The entire room froze and Krystal’s stomach dropped immediately.

“What?” The servant swallowed hard.

“He said…” his voice nervously trembled, “…that he came to retrieve what belongs to him.”

The atmosphere instantly turned cold and before he could even process those words, another voice echoed from the doorway. “Move.”

Each and every servant immediately stepped aside. That’s when Diago entered the room. His eyes landed directly on Elias’ hand which was near Krystal’s face at the time. For the first time, he saw genuine possessiveness inside those beautiful eyes.

Diago’s lips slowly curved into a smile, not a gentle one either. “Having fun with my fiancé?” He asked and Elias’ expression darkened. That’s when Krystal realized, Diago might had definitely heard everything.

His gaze remained fixed, never once leaving Krystal’s face. The soft sound of leather tightening against his skin echoed loudly throughout the silent room.Krystal swallowed hard. He felt every instinct in his body scream danger. “Did you enjoy it?” His breath hitched.“…What?” Diago slowly stepped closer.“The attention.” His voice remained calm, almost terrifyingly calm. “Did you enjoy letting him touch you?” Krystal stared at him in disbelief

  • VILLIAN OMEGA MARRIED TO THE FUTURE MONSTER    The Beginning of a Disaster

Krystal couldn’t sleep; the whole experience seemed to have taken a toll on him. No matter how many times he closed his eyes, Diago’s voice kept replaying inside his head. “For the first time, I’m looking forward to this engagement.” That single sentence was enough to destroy every remaining ounce of peace within him.“This is bad… this really is bad.” He stuttered as he sat up, rummaging a hand through his hair in frustration. His silver hair damp from the sweat. The moonlight slipped through the curtains, casting faint shadows across the luxurious room. Everything seemed to be changing so quickly that he felt lost. In the original manhwa, Diago despised Caspian from the very beginning. It was so bad that, even their relationship was cold, hostile, and filled with resentment. But now, it was the direct opposite. The future tyrant was smiling and laughing at him. Looking at him like he had suddenly become something worth noticing. He intuitively felt his head ache from the trauma.“N

Kyrstal’s breath hitched as he watched him. Diago’s gaze was laced with a smile which neither felt warm or friendly but rather sent chills crawling beneath his skin. The entire hall halted in stunned silence. Even the nobles seated nearby looked visibly shocked by what their eyes beheld. The Diago Veydrake they knew never smiled, not in public nor anywhere, and certainly not at Caspian Vale.Krystal looked alarmed, immediately sensing the danger.“Young Master Caspian seems different from the rumors,” Diago calmly pointed with his crimson eyes glued at him, never leaving his space. The moment those eyes locked onto him again, Krystal instinctively stiffened. He instantly felt the attention and pressure. It was as though a predator had suddenly found something interesting enough to watch.“This child had been unusually quiet today. Perhaps he finally learned proper manners.” Caspian’s father quickly said, clearing his throat with an awkward laugh. Krystal nearly rolled his eyes with a

Krystal’s heartbeat pounded violently against his chest. The only thought running through his mind was to cancel the engagement at any cost. Maybe if one way or the other, he gets to stop this meeting from happening, then maybe, just maybe, he could avoid the tragic end awaiting Caspian Vale.“Young Master?” the maid called again from outside. “Master Vale is growing impatient.”“Right… Caspian’s father.” Krystal clenched his fists. It escaped him, the kind of man Casp’s father was. He was the kind who cared more about power and reputation than his own son. With no other options at hand, he took a deep breath, forcing himself away from the mirror as he headed off toward the door. Several servants immediately lowered their heads the moment the door swung open.“Y-Young Master.” Their fearful expressions didn’t escape his notice. Caspian truly had a terrible reputation and it clearly showed.Without words, Krystal quietly followed the maid through the enormous halls of the Vale estate.
