“You called for me, Pakhan?” Dmitry said when he entered Vladimir's office and stood with his hands folded in front of him looking down in respect.

Vladimir was sitting on his boss chair with a glass of whiskey in his hand, his nose flared slightly upon hearing Dmitry's voice. Ever so slowly, He raised his eyes and fixed them on his Vor.

His wife's words buzzed in his ears and his eyes aflamed. He clenched the whiskey glass tightly into his hand, turned around and threw it at him.

The glass hit Dmitry's face hard and shattered. The shards embedding into his skin while the amber liquid dripped down his chin along with blood.

Dmitry let out a pained groan, his face twisted in excruciation as he took a few steps behind in shock and misery. His hand went to his bloodied face to protect it from further harm. “Pakhan I…”

By people you meant her own sister and Dimitri? I think Vlad would give her a chance to make the marriage work but she's listening to that child who has never married a mafia man.
