ROSIANNA

The luminous light which beamed on my sealed eyelids indicated that morning had arrived even before I opened my eyes. I had no desire to open my eyes. I kept them close for some time, savoring the serene silence of the morning.

But even I was aware that I couldn’t evade reality for long. I let my eyelids flutter open and inhaled deeply. As I rose from the bed, the events of the previous night crashed through my mind.

I lost it completely. Heavens, I lost it completely.

I could still remember the cramps. Santos's blatant confusion. The unbearable pain. The sex.

Oh, God.

The worst part of it was that I lost it in front of Santos, the one man I never wanted to see me that way. Not only did he view me in that light, but he also attended to me.
