Yet I found myself getting lost in the time of death which had been stated in the paper. It did not make sense to me. The story that my father had told us countless times of how she died had happened in the night.

This was probably wrong. It could not be the right time. Documents like this were supposed to be accurate.

"Kael?" Zira called and I stopped to look at her with raised brows. "Something has definitely gotten into you. It's Tabitha, isn't it? Maybe it would be best if we left the house of the dead woman. I think we need some air or something. Maybe we could come back later," she suggested.

My wolf stirred as I glared at her. Her suggestion was not bad but I was not done snooping around. I needed to find the other half of this document. I needed to find assurance that the time written here was wrong.
