The Betrayal of the Princess and the Truth

The vengeful war between the Western Mountains Kingdom and the Eastern Mountains Kingdom ended just like that. No one wins and no one loses. The number of soldiers who died from the two kingdoms was almost enormous. It was morning. The sun has risen. Many corpses of soldiers from the two kingdoms lay in the courtyard of the Western Mountains royal palace. At the west end of the courtyard, Queen Lourine sat leaning against the feet of Dante who was standing behind her. She put her son's head in her lap. Her gaze was blank. Her face was very dirty with dust and blood. Her eyes are glassy. The prince's body didn't move. His eyes were closed. His face was pale with dust. Glory stood beside Dante with a sad face. Everyone was silent looking at the prince's body lying with the arrow still stuck in his heart. A few moments later, the queen took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly. "Glory, go in and check everything in there including Tristan and come back soon." Queen Lourine said in a v
