'Will you shut up?' I responded abruptly.

Cliff jumped up, grabbed a pillow, taking advantage and smacked me with it. "C'mon, focus." He grinned and I grinned back. This is a much better distraction. I grabbed a pillow of my own and run at him, smacking away in an attempt to knock him down. It doesn't work, and soon I am pushed into the couch. I take fake deep breaths and when he turned to look at Joel, I smacked him on the back of his head and jumped on his back.

"Ha-ha!" I shouted in victory and hopped right back off.

"I think you're just about ready to take on the world." He turned to smirk at me. I laughed and Joel does too. "You're a weird bunch." He said and I laughed before turning to Cliff again. "I'm gonna grab some water." I announced and stupidly stare at the floor, turning to walk towards the kitchen. I hit a hard chest in the process.

"Oops sor-" I started but when I saw Elijah smiling at me, my breath caught in my throat. "Well hello there." He chuckled.

    (Elijah's POV)I managed to get back to the pack in my wolf form, still managing my strength. The effects of whatever he sprayed on us was gradually taking over my consciousness. As I got to the pack's gates that were widely opened, the sight before me was terrifying. He, who had introduced himself to us as Dragon with an eagle eye, was still busy putting things together at the front of the car, while we noticed that his two colleagues have left. They were no longer standing on either side of the car.
