Reene headed straight to the kitchen, and with the help of some workers, managed to find ingredients she'd need.

This was going to be terrific.

She was going to make him grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup, as that was Jake's apology meal when they were younger.

And it also helped comfort her after her parents' death. So, that'd do.

All day, Reene made the meal, putting as many efforts and emotions to it.

Once done, she decorated it beautifully on a plate, added a glass of wine, then set both on a tray before beginning the journey to Jaxon's room.

This was thrilling.

It was the first time in so long since she placed so much time in making a meal.

Reene was about to reach the elevator, when Inder came to view, phone in hand.
