I gulped, sniffing before instantly looking away. Aaron’s blank expression had turned concerned, and I had no idea what I was supposed to do with that.

Aaron never came into my room. He never showed concern for me. I could tell that he always wished that we were never brothers, so why was everything changing now?

Aaron was acting too strange, and it made me confused. I honestly hated being confused.

I rubbed the back of my neck, answering without looking him in the eyes. “Yes.” I answered honestly. I was too exhausted and broken down to even try to lie.

Aaron let out a sigh, his eyes softening, which was another rare occurrence from him. Seriously, what in the world had come over him? Why was he so weird?

“Let me guess. She broke up with you?” He asked, and usually, I wouldn’t want to discuss stuff like this with him, but at that moment, I just shrugged.

Telling him about it wouldn’t hurt anyway. I was honestly too dejected to care anyway.
