LOGINLUCIA
I tried to remember why that name sounded so familiar and where I had heard it from, but my brain was so foggy that it was basically futile, and I had no choice but to give up. “It’s nice to meet you, Lucia.” Jeremy said in that rich, baritone voice of his, snapping me out of my reverie, and I would be lying if I said I didn’t like the way he said my name. “It’s nice to meet you too, Jeremy.” I answered with a smile. Jeremy. I had no idea why, but for some reason, I thought that the name suited him perfectly. Jeremy still held on to my hand, and his bright blue eyes, which were still intense on mine, made me nervous. “Would you like to talk and maybe have some drinks? I would like to know more about you.” My heart instantly did a flip in my chest. Usually, I would say no to that. I was not the kind of person that would agree to hang out with a complete stranger, but maybe because I was not in my right mind, or maybe it was because of the man standing in front of me, but I could not bring myself to say no. I didn’t want the night to end just yet. Conversing with him a little more would not hurt anyone. “Of course.” I answered, my smile turning flirty. Jeremy’s smile was relieved, and instead of letting go of my hand, he took my other hand, interlocking his fingers with mine. I was not one who liked physical contact, but at that moment, the action made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and even if I wanted to pull away, I couldn’t bring myself to. “Come on.” He said, tugging me along the hallway like we had known each other for a long time till we arrived at a balcony. Even though we came here to talk, Jeremy and I just stood side by side, admiring the dark, beautiful sky that was full of stars. I felt the wind ruffle my hair and clothes, and my heart sank in disappointment when he let go of my hand. My hand, which felt warm and protected earlier, was now cold. Jeremy and I settled into a bit of silence, which was not at all awkward. It was comfortable even. I slowly glanced at him, deciding to take that time to study him even more. Jeremy was incredibly tall. I assumed he was about 6 ft with the way he towered over me. The top buttons of his shirt were undone, revealing a toned chest and a silver necklace. Over his shirt was a black jacket and beneath were black pants and a pair of fashionable boots. When I finally looked up at his face, his eyes were already on mine, and my cheeks flushed red at the fact that I had just been caught staring. Jeremy’s lips broke into another smile as he gently tugged off his jacket before taking a step closer and wrapping it around me. I had no idea that I was still shivering from the cold as I was too entranced by him, and the moment he wrapped his jacket around me, I was instantly engulfed in warmth. Even after Jeremy wrapped his jacket around me, he did not step away, and his hands still lingered on my arms. He was so close that I practically inhaled his cologne, the enticing scent making me dizzy with pleasure. “So are you with the bride or groom?” He asked, his hot breath grazing my skin and instantly sending shivers up my spine. “The bride.” I managed to answer, still unable to get over how much he affected me. “Yeah. I figured.” I raised a confused brow at that. “You figured?” “You two barely left each other’s side, and I know that because I have not been able to take my eyes off you all night.” My breath hitched in my chest as I blinked in surprise. “You’ve been watching me?” “Well, it’s hard not to. You are a very beautiful woman.” His breath fanned my skin once more, and his which had grown dark with desire was intense on mine, leaving me hot and breathless. My entire body tingled with a desire for Jeremy. I wanted his hands all over me, and I was determined to do whatever it took to make it happen. I took a step close to him till our lips were only inches apart. If I leaned in just a little bit, our lips would meet. “And you are a very handsome man.” I purred, my voice all sultry and seductive, not pausing to think about the fact that the way I was acting was so unlike me. Jeremy slowly lifted his finger, grazing my chin, and that was all it took. We both leaned in, his lips crashing against mine in a frenzy, and our mouths moved in unison like we had been craving each other for decades. His lips were soft, and his mouth tasted like wine, the sweetness almost driving me crazy. His hands found my waist, and he tugged me closer till my body collided with his rock-hard physique. His arms continued roaming around my body. My waist, back, hair and face like he could not get enough of me, and as his touches grew rougher, a low moan escaped my lips. My moan grew even louder as his fingers lightly trailed up the slit of my dress. Jeremy slowly pulled away, his eyes drinking me in like he wanted to take me right there and then. His beautiful cerulean blue eyes were filled with questions. Questions that I understood instantly. Questions that I already knew the answers to. I nodded without even letting him speak, and a small smile graced his features as he grabbed my hand once again in such a familiar manner. “Come on.” Jeremy said, leading me out of the balcony and through the hallways. He was a complete stranger, but at that moment, I knew I would follow him anywhere because I was so hungry for him. He led me into a nice room, and I had no time to admire how cosy the room was before Jeremy backed me against the wall, pressing his lips to mine. This time, there was nothing soft and gentle about the kiss. It was rough and passionate, and we ravished each other like our lives depended on it. My fingers tangled in Jeremy’s hair, and he let out a growl, making my knees buckle as his lips found my neck. He began kissing and sucking and, at the same time, unzipping my dress and exposing my lingerie. He lifted me so easily like I weighed nothing, and I wrapped my arms around his neck, wrapping my legs around his waist as he held me steady. His lips found mine once again, and I had no idea how he managed to carry to bed while kissing me at the same time. Jeremy laid me down gently on the bed, breaking the kiss as he watched me, and I did not miss the hungry look in his eyes. “You’re so damn beautiful.” He growled, his voice thick with desire. My cheeks flushed red as a shy smile graced my lips. Our mouths met once again, and soon, our clothes flew off till we were both completely naked. Pleasure built in the pit of my stomach as Jeremy’s warm, leaned, and muscled body pressed against mine. His lips found my nipples as his fingers made their way to my folds, massaging softly. My eyes fluttered shut as filthy noises escaped my lips. His fingers grew frantic, and my head and vision swam as he slipped his length inside me, burying himself inside me completely. I let out a small cry, feeling the burn as my eyes sealed shut, but as he began moving inside me, pain soon turned into full-blown pleasure and before long, the sounds of our moans reverberated around the room, sweat trickling down my entire body as Jeremy pounded into me and ravished my body ferociously. I didn’t tell Beth or anyone else where I would be, and I was aware that they would probably be looking for me, but I couldn’t bring myself to care. The only person I could focus on at that moment was the man burying himself inside me just like I wanted. We went at it again and again for hours, and after a while, alcohol and fatigue finally caught up to me, leaving me with no choice but to drift off to sleep. I had no idea how much time had passed, but after what seemed like hours later, a low groan escaped my lips as my eyes finally opened. My head banged like crazy and the sunlight, which filtered in through the windows, did little to help my case. I lifted my hands, trying to shield my eyes from the sun as they tried to adjust to my surroundings. Slowly, my eyes darted around before landing on the man sleeping peacefully next to me. Memories of what we did flooded through my head as my eyes went wide with horror. I was now sober, which meant that I saw everything completely differently now. Even though there were holes in my memories, I was well aware of the fact that I had sex with a complete stranger. “Oh, shit. What the hell have I done?!” I gasped, instantly regretting my foolish actions.LUCIAI wanted to do something nice for the Hales to show my appreciation for what they had done for me, but I had no idea what to do.This was a family of billionaires, and there was nothing I could buy for them that they wouldn’t be able to buy for themselves.Jeremy’s parents seemed to love the photo album I gifted them the first time, but I didn’t know if I would be able to give them something they would appreciate a second time. I was currently brainstorming on what the perfect gift could be, but I kept coming up short. It was just me and Thomas and I that were currently in the mansion.Jeremy had left for a musical performance, and when I suggested going with him, he insisted that I stayed home and rested.Aaron and his parents had also gone to work, and those three also treated me like I was fragile, insisting that I stay home and rest when it was quite obvious that I was fine.I was extremely bored, and when I couldn’t take it anymore, I decided to pay Beth a quick visit.“He
LUCIAThe next couple of hours after Jeremy and Aaron saved me, I went by in a blur. Jeremy and I were rushed to a hospital, and after I was placed on medications, I drifted off to sleep. By the time I woke up, all my cuts and bruises had been bandaged, and I felt a lot better. My eyes darted around the hospital room, and the strong smell of disinfectants instantly wafted its way into my nostrils, making me cringe.I hated everything about hospitals, especially its smell, but at that moment, I was just glad to be alive. I was adjusting my blanket over my body when I had a soft knock on the door.“Come in.” I answered, looking towards the door. The door opened slightly, and Jeremy poked his head into the room with a small smile on his face, which in turn put a smile on my face.“Jeremy!” I exclaimed, attempting to get out of bed, but he quickly rushed towards me, eyes wide as he flailed his hands wildly.“No, no. You don’t need to get up.” In seconds, he was by my side, helping me g
JEREMY“Lucia!” I bellowed without thinking, instantly dashing in the direction where the scream came from.I could feel my heart pounding furiously against my chest as blood rushed through my ears. “Lucia! Lucia!” I yelled, all thoughts of going in quietly thrown out the window. I rushed through the cabin, and I was alarmed that it had more rooms than I expected. “Let’s split up. We’ll be able to find her faster that way.” I heard Aaron say, and I barely nodded as I continued dashing forward, sweat trickling down my brow. “Where is she? Where is she?” I whispered to myself, tearing open all the doors I encountered in a haste. I was so focused on finding Lucia at that moment that I barely sensed that someone was behind me.When I finally noticed, I assumed it was Aaron, and I was about to turn around when I felt a sharp pain sear through my head. Whoever it was had hit me from behind, the horrific sound echoing around the cabin.A pained groan escaped my lips as I sank to the gro
JEREMYAt that moment, I was too worried about Lucia’s well-being to even second guess Aaron’s idea. If involving dad was going to save her life, then I wouldn’t think twice before doing it.I began to click on my phone, but Aaron’s hand stopped me.“Don’t worry. I’ll speak to him. You are not in the right frame of mind.” He said, giving me a wary look as his eyes darted towards my hands, which trembled so much.I let out a loud sigh, running my fingers through my hair. “Yeah. Sorry.” Aaron’s face turned sympathetic as he placed his hand on my shoulder in a comforting manner. “We’ll do everything we can to find her, alright?” His words did not do much to soothe my nerves, but I was glad that he was at least trying. “Alright.” I answered with a nod, and I simply watched as he proceeded to call that. The fact that I was standing around, doing nothing was extremely agitating, and when I couldn’t take it anymore, I began pacing around the room while Aaron spoke to dad. After a few min
JEREMYMy body grew cold as ice as I just stood in the middle of Lucia’s hotel room with different thoughts running through my head. What in the world could have happened? Where was Lucia? My eyes slowly grew wide as I thought of a certain possibility. Could it be Connor? Did he do this?If it was him, then there was a huge chance Lucia was in danger.“No. No. No,” I muttered to myself, dashing out of the room in her daze, my heart racing in my chest and my eyes wide with horror.“Please be safe, Lucia. Please be safe.” I instantly pulled out my phone and called the only person I could think of at that moment. Aaron.Thankfully, he picked up on the first ring like he knew how urgent the situation was. “Aaron, I need you at the Grand Hotel now. Something’s wrong. I think Connor took Lucia.” “I’ll be there in five minutes.” Aaron answered calmly, no questions asked. I barely heard the line disconnect as I raced out of the room, into the elevator.“Come on.” I breathed, pressing the
LUCIATears spilled down my eyes as Connor’s grip on my hair grew even tighter. I was trying to be brave, but now it had cost me.“You stupid bitch. How dare you speak to me like that?!” He growled, his eyes icy as hell as flung me against the ground.A loud scream escaped my lips as I landed on my elbow and I would be lucky if I didn’t shatter something at that point. I was in extreme pain, but Connor was not done with me. He kept hitting me and then kicked me, driving out all the air in my lungs. He drove his feet into my stomach and another loud scream escaped my lips as more tears streamed down my face. “Please, stop, Connor! Please!” I cried, all the bravery I felt earlier seeping out of my body. Thankfully Connor stopped and he slowly squatted next to me, a sick smile playing at the corners of his lips. He roughly grabbed my chin and pulled my face close to his. “Will you do whatever I tell you to do now?” I simply stared at him, clamping my mouth shut as more tears glisten
