Lelanna's POV: It had taken us a few weeks to get everything in place, especially as we wanted our plan to go undetected by any rogues that might be watching us. Patrol shifts had been doubled and I had been helping night and day to patrol the boarder, the city and the village, even Layton who usually, as an Alpha doesn’t take part in the patrol had been working tirelessly all day with his duties then doing patrols at night. I woke up early and got dressed into my armour to make an early start on the duties. It was my turn to head to the lake house and make sure everything there was running smoothly and to show our gratitude at all the warriors that had come. It had been four months since they were last here and It was bittersweet that once again they were here because of a war. After three days, I still hadn’t been able to stop reading Layton’s letter. Every time I went to bed, hell I couldn’t stop thinking about it no matter where I went or what I did! I woke up a few hours later and as I checked the time on my phone to see it was 11am I also noticed a text from Layton asking me to meet him for lunch. One Month Later. I woke up grinning from ear to ear, although I was missing the warm body that I had started to get used to waking up to. I had been spending most nights sleeping at Layton’s but last night he still had a lot to get done, now Tina’s sentencing was being dealt with.
