Sienna

The silence in Kendra’s living room felt like a storm waiting to break.

We all sat there — four of us — pretending to be calm while our thoughts ran wild.

Kendra’s house was too quiet, the ticking clock on the wall far too loud.

I sat beside her, my palms cold against my knees. Jaxon sat across from me, shoulders tense, his gaze fixed on nothing in particular. Caleb leaned back, arms crossed, his jaw tight, his patience wearing thin.

It was Kendra who finally broke the silence.

She took a deep breath and said softly, “Okay. Let’s just… talk about it.”

No one moved at first. Then Jaxon nodded.

“Yeah,” he said, voice low but steady. “We should.”

He shifted forward in his seat, rubbing his palms together — the way he always did when he was trying to find the right words.

“What’s going on between me and Sienna…” He paused, glancing at me before continuing, “…it’s not what people think, but it’s not something we can deny either.”

Kendra and Caleb both looked at him closely.

SiennaThe moment the doctor said the words —“Jaxon is Liana’s biological son.”— the entire waiting area turned into a battlefield.Lena screamed again, louder this time, a sound so heart-breaking it cut straight through bone. She lunged toward Liana, not to attack her but in pure confusion and agony.“You’re lying!” she sobbed. “Tell them you’re lying, Liana! Tell them Jaxon is MY baby! TELL THEM!”Liana stepped back, hands shaking. Tears streamed down her cheeks too, but she wasn’t screaming — she was terrified.“Lena, I swear… I don’t know what happened,” she cried. “I don’t know why the test says that. I don’t remember anything! I don’t—”“STOP!” Lena shouted, voice cracking so painfully it made everyone flinch. “Stop saying you don’t know! Stop saying you don’t remember! He was in my stomach! My body! I carried him!”Lena collapsed to the floor again, sobbing into her palms.People were staring now. Nurses rushed forward.A male doctor signaled for security discreetly. The tens

SiennaThe hallway was too quiet.Too still.Every second felt like it was dragging nails across my skin as we waited for the “general test” results. No one spoke—not Lena, not Dad, not even the nurses passing by.When the double doors finally opened and the doctor stepped out holding a single white file, the air around us froze completely. He didn’t need to say anything. His face already said everything. But he spoke anyway, voice low and cautious.“Mr. and Mrs. Blake… the results are out.”Lena rose slowly, like her body was made of paper.Dad moved beside her, jaw tight, shoulders stiff. The doctor opened the file.“The genetic analysis shows that… the maternity markers do not match.”Lena blinked. “W–what?”Dad frowned deeply. “Explain.”The doctor swallowed. “Mrs. Lena… according to this test… you are not Jaxon’s biological mother.”The world collapsed.Just… cracked open.Lena shook her head violently. “No. No! That’s wrong. That’s impossible! Test it again. Do it again!”“We ra

SiennaI didn’t even feel my legs. One moment I was in my room at Mum’s house, the next I was bursting through the front door, the cold air slapping my face. My heart was hammering so loudly it drowned out everything else.I barely made it to the gate before I heard Mum behind me.“Sienna!” she called sharply. “Where are you going? What happened?!”I stopped, but only because my body couldn’t keep moving. My chest rose and fell too fast, and when I turned around, the words refused to come out. My throat closed up completely. Tears streamed down my cheeks before I even noticed I was crying.Mum hurried toward me, panic already rising in her eyes.“Sienna, talk to me,” she said, grabbing my arms gently. “What is it? What happened?”I opened my mouth, but all that came out was, “J-Jaxon… Jaxon… Jaxon—”I couldn’t say anything else. His name was breaking apart inside me.Mum’s face changed instantly. She didn’t ask more questions. She just cupped my face with both hands, wiping my tears w

SiennaThe next morning came quietly. No shouting. No slammed doors.Just the faint sound of Lena moving around the kitchen and the smell of toast drifting up the hallway. It felt strange… waking up in this house again.Strange, but not painful.Just unfamiliar, like putting on a shirt you used to love but haven’t worn in a long time.I got dressed slowly, brushed my hair twice just to feel like I had control over something, then stepped out into the hallway. Jaxon was already outside his room, leaning on the wall like he’d been waiting for me.“Sleep well?” he asked softly.“Not really,” I admitted. “But… better than I expected.”He nodded. “Same.”Breakfast was another quiet event.Dad sat at the head of the table, reading something on his phone but not really reading.Lena kept reaching for her mug, even when it was already in her hand.Jaxon and I ate quietly, exchanging the occasional glance. No one brought up last night. No one pushed for another heavy conversation. We were all

SiennaAfter the parking lot showdown, I thought Jaxon would take me straight home and lecture me until my ears fell off.Instead, when we reached his car, he squeezed my hand and said gently,“Let me take you out. Just us. You need a break.”A break.tGod. I needed about five.I nodded, and he opened the passenger door for me like the gentleman he pretends not to be.As he drove, his thumb brushed slow circles over my hand resting on his thigh — soft, protective, quiet.“Where do you wanna go, princess?” he asked.“Anywhere that doesn’t have cameras,” I muttered. He smirked. “So nowhere on planet Earth.”I groaned into my palms. “This is my life now. Oh my God.”He laughed — actually laughed — and leaned over to kiss my cheek at the red light.“You’re adorable when you’re suffering.”“You’re the worst.”“And you’re my celebrity girlfriend,” he added, grinning. “Do I get a fan badge? A membership card? A shirt that says ‘Taken by a trending icon’?”I shoved his shoulder. “Please stop.

SiennaBy the time I got inside the building, I felt like someone had taken my brain, put it in a blender, and hit purée.I thought maybe — maybe — things would calm down by lunch. They didn’t.If anything, they got worse. My phone buzzed nonstop. I had to put it on silent because the vibration was starting to feel like a baby earthquake in my pocket.By third period, I finally checked it.And nearly dropped it.Instagram: +429,400 new followersTikTok: +752,000Snapchat: 213,000 people added youMy mouth fell open. “No. No, no, no—this is insane.”Kendra practically screamed. “Sienna, you’re trending worldwide. WORLD. WIDE. Liam Hart returns to Hillview High AND childhood sweetheart reunion? Oh my God—oh my GOD—do you understand what this means?”“I’m going to vomit?”“It means you’re famous, babe.”I groaned, shoving my face into my hands. “I don’t want to be famous.”“Well, too late.” She patted my back like I was a traumatized cat. “The internet has chosen you.”And it truly had.
