I slept early in the morning, and there was no way I could get up in a few hours. I slept till 5 PM.

I found Aoife calling me in between, but my head was spinning badly. I hung up the phone. After some time, I drank 2-3 glasses of lemon water and took pain relief pills to control my dizzy head. It’s not medicine; my body wanted Aoife. I wanted her so badly in my arms. I missed her so badly.

Once I found myself better, I scanned my phone.

Matt won the competition? Great, it was good news. Hastily, I prepared myself for the party. But when I came down, mom called me to meet Zareena’s family. They visited to see mom’s health.

Whether I wanted it, I had to sit there. I missed my big brother; if he had been here, he would have taken care of these guests. But he was out handling our projects in different states.

I talked to Zareena’s dad as he was lecturing me to be the man of the house. To take care of my mom as she is old now.

I scanned
