RORY’S POV

I don’t know how long I had spent starring at Todd like I was looking at a ghost. His words has been repeating over and over in my head with no thoughts attached.

It felt like Todd and I had frozen in our spots. His eyes were pleading strongly with me even though his lios had not said any more words since he said he wants me to be his girlfriend.

I was thinking of what to say in fear that we would remain in that position for a very long time.

So when Todd sighed in preparation for his forth coming words, I was relieved.

“I’m sorry. I seemed to have scared you.” He said with guilt clearly showing in his eyes.

I shook my head quickly. I did not want him to have the wrong impression of my reaction.

“You did not scare me Todd.” I said softly to him. “I do admit that I am thrown off guard but you did not scare me.”

His facial features showed a flicker of relief.

    RORY’S POVTodd and I walked in silence at first. He was still holding my hand in his as we walked down the quiet street. I had a lot of thoughts going through my mind but somehow I could not find a way to speak.As we walked, I stole a glance from Todd. He looked like he was deep in thoughts as well. Then just like he had sensed me looking at him, he turned to me.I quickly turned back feeling my cheeks heat up in shyness. I heard Todd sigh and then he stopped walking. Because he was holding my hand, I was forced to stop too. His eyes looked serious and kind of gloomy.“Are you alright?” I couldn’t help but ask when the silence was becoming too much for me.“Not really.” He said and then he led me to an empty roadside bench and we sat down. “We have never had this kind of problem before.     RORY’S POV “Are you really going to keep on ignoring his call?” Rosalie asked me as her eyes fell on my phone which was placed on the center table before me. I turned the phone upside down and went on eating my cereal.     (TODD’S POV) I did not sleep well last night and it was not because I did not feel alright. It was because I felt too exited and too full of anxiety.
