The man grinned slyly, stared intently at the minimalist white house in front of him while rubbing the corners of his lips which still felt wet after kissing Caroline's lips and cheeks. Tonight he managed to play his part well to lure Caroline into his life. Maybe he was crazy to have played with fire behind Cassie, but he wanted to do it to pay revenge on her for being so indifferent. With Caroline, he was able to forget his feelings of emptiness and also make Cassie jealous later when she returned from New York.
