Chapter 2

Author: Sunny Jin
I arrived at my boyfriend's house with him, carrying a New Year's gift box in hand.

The moment I saw his father, my mind went blank.

Because I realized—he was the man on the train whose bed I had crawled into by mistake.

I couldn't believe the world could serve up such a ludicrous coincidence. I stood there, thunderstruck, frozen in place.

I even forgot to greet him. My boyfriend had to nudge me.

His father extended his hand for a handshake. Steeling myself, I reached out too.

His rough palm wrapped around my small hand, giving it a brief, friendly squeeze. I flushed bright red.

The moment I remembered the disaster I'd caused the night before, I wished I could move to another planet.

Luckily, I noticed nothing unusual in his expression—clearly, he hadn't recognized me.

On the train, I'd only thought he was handsome, but I hadn't really seen his face. Now, looking closely, my boyfriend didn't even come close. Because his father was breathtakingly, stunningly handsome.

Tall and broad-shouldered, with a narrow waist, his impeccably tailored suit exuded elegance and refinement.

Though over forty, he must be very disciplined—his figure was still in excellent shape. Every inch of him radiated the charm and poise of a mature man.

As I stared, my thoughts began to wander somewhere they shouldn't.

I mentally slapped myself. What a horny girl I was, daring to think such things. This was my boyfriend's father, after all.

Dinner came soon enough. My boyfriend and I sat together, with his father across from us.

At the table, I hunched over my food like a timid quail, pretending to be calm on the surface while inwardly writhing in agony.

I was terrified he might remember something.

Thankfully, he only asked me basic questions—whether my parents were still alive, what they did for work.

I breathed a sigh of relief. But then, he pushed a glass of milk and a plate of sausage toward me.

"You must like these," he said. "Go ahead and enjoy them this time."

Hmm? What did that mean?

For a moment, the atmosphere turned awkward.

No way. Had he already recognized me?

I cautiously lifted my gaze and found him looking back at me, the corner of his mouth curled into a knowing smile.

Terrified, I dropped my head and tried to brainwash myself: It was probably just a normal expression. Besides, it had been so dark back then—he definitely hadn't seen clearly.

But the very next second, I was proven wrong.

Under the tablecloth, I felt a foot idly brushing against my bare ankle.

I tugged my skirt down. His foot simply lifted it and continued its mischief.

I looked up and found his predatory gaze fixed on me without the slightest hint of restraint.

I shot him a warning look with my eyes. But instead of backing off, he grew bolder, catching the hem of my skirt and tugging—slowly, deliberately, with increasing force.

I was wearing an off-the-shoulder dress. With each tug, the strap slipped a little further down.

The curve of my chest trembled with the movement of the fabric.

I was so tense I thought the dress might fall off at any moment.

Fortunately, the prank stopped just before the point of no return.

The moment I exhaled in relief, his foot went straight for the core.

A jolt shot through my entire body. I instinctively clamped my legs together, and because I was so sensitive, a soft whimper escaped my lips.

My boyfriend noticed and looked at me with concern.

Face burning, I stammered, "N-nothing."

My boyfriend's father's foot kept stirring in the darkness, unleashing an unbearable wave of itchiness.

I gripped the table leg, trying my hardest to endure, but my body trembled uncontrollably—until I completely lost it.

I scrambled to my feet, muttered, "Bathroom," and fled in humiliation.

Inside the bathroom, I peeled off my damp underwear. Just as I was about to wash it, the door swung open.

I turned in terror—and saw my boyfriend's father.

Before I could react, my feet left the floor. He lifted me and set me on the sink counter.

Bracing his hands on either side of me, he stared straight into my eyes.

His gaze made me uneasy.

"Mr. Parker… what… what are you doing?"

"What am I doing?" He leaned closer, a roguish smirk playing on his lips. "Weren't you seducing me?"

I shook my head. "N-No."

"No?" He echoed my words. "You did it on purpose on the train too, didn't you?"

So he had recognized me all along.

"No…" I started to explain, but his lips were already hovering over mine.

Terrified, I pushed against him. "We can't. I'm Max's girlfriend. I might even be your future daughter-in-law."

"I know," he said, his voice low and husky. "But in our family, there's a tradition. Before marriage, the bride must pass the father-in-law's trial."

My eyes widened in horror. My voice cracked with tears. "Mr. Parker, please, really, we can't. Please let me go…"

But he ignored my pleas. Ruthlessly, he pinned me against the mirror, holding me in place.

Then, with his knee, he forcibly pushed my legs apart...

The police chief treated him with the utmost respect—bowing, almost groveling. The officers who'd been listening to me moments ago scattered like roaches.A hammer struck my heart. Stupid. So stupid. They clearly had connections I didn't know about—far more power than I'd imagined.Their reach was everywhere. Escape was impossible.Just as I resigned myself to my fate, Adrian took my hand and led me, dazed and defeated, out of the station. A female officer brushed past me and slipped a USB drive into my palm.I snapped back to my senses.I hid it quickly. When we returned, I opened the file. The officer was an undercover agent embedded in Brayeland's police force. She told me the truth:

Morning sunlight streamed through the window, just like any other day. But inside, I was already dead. How I wished last night had only been a nightmare.Yes, I loved Max. And yes, I felt desire for his older brother, too.Double the pleasure would surely be harder to resist. But I had morals. I had shame. I was a human being.I couldn't sink into this. If I did, my life would mean nothing. No matter how much pleasure it brought, this kind of affair—one that destroyed love—was nothing but animal pleasure.Sooner or later, it would destroy me.So I decided to escape. Even under close watch, I would get out, no matter the cost. But their greedy, relentless demands left me no opportunity.I felt like a plaything, day after day. Finally, I broke. I smashed a glass, raised a shard to my throat."You don't love me. You call it love, but all you do is hurt me."My tears didn't move them. They watched me like I was a circus act.I softened, pleading. "Please. Just let me go outsi

Max patted my head and smiled. "Baby, I'm done teasing you. He's not really my dad. Bro, why don't you officially introduce yourself to Anna?"Adrian took my hand and placed a gentle kiss on it. "Hello, sweetheart. I'm Adrian Parker, Max's older brother."I felt like my brain had just short-circuited. What the hell was happening?"So you've been lying to me this whole time."The two of them admitted it openly. Everything had been planned from the very beginning—starting with the train. They'd deliberately switched seats to make me find the wrong one.I was furious and stunned all at once. I should have seen it coming. Adrian never looked like Max's father. He barely looked thirty. Not to mention the photos with half the images cut out. Then Adrian explained about the woman I'd seen him with that day. She was just an actress he'd hired. All of it—every last bit—was designed to awaken the little devil inside me, to wear down my limits, to make me more accepting of today's truth.

I couldn't tell who had won or lost. I didn't know whether it was daylight, or already dark, or maybe even the next day.All I knew was that by the end, I was nearly falling apart. I figured this was what it felt like to be run over by five semi-trucks.I collapsed from exhaustion and slept for what felt like days and nights. When I finally woke, a thunderstorm was raging outside. Rain lashed the windows, and lightning split the sky.I looked down. The clothes I'd worn to bed had been swapped sometime during my sleep, replaced by a man's shirt that smelled of tobacco.A thin silk scarf covered my eyes. My limbs ached, my head throbbed.I tried to move my hand. A creaking sound echoed through the silent dark—eerie and chilling.By the faint moonlight filtering through the window, I realized with horror that my legs were spread wide, my body strapped to a swinging chair in a deeply humiliating position.I jolted fully awake. What the hell was going on?Then came the smell of cur

Through the window, I saw a woman step out of the car with him.I didn't dare go out and say hello. I locked myself in my room and tried to lie low, like a frightened little bird playing invisible. That didn't last long, though.Because soon enough, unmistakable sounds drifted from upstairs—raw, wild, unhinged. A man's voice, hurling crude, degrading words. A woman's voice, moaning with abandoned pleasure.Even an idiot could tell what was happening. But this, again, shattered whatever impression I'd managed to hold onto about his father.Max hadn't been exaggerating. The man's appetite was insatiable. Couldn't go a single day without it. Didn't even care that his future daughter-in-law was right there under the same roof.It was as if I didn't exist. The noises grew louder—sounds that seemed to shake the very ceiling—and the woman's cries climbed higher and higher. I couldn't sit still anymore.I crept out of my room and made my way upstairs to their door.It was slightly aja

And yet, Adrian—so refined, so gentle—uttered words so vile they would have put a field hand shucking corn to shame. It was all a mask. How foolish of me to have thought him handsome and dignified. Beneath it all, he was nothing but a shameless devil.Just when I thought I was totally done for, my boyfriend's confused voice came from outside the door, "What's taking so long?"The two of us inside went dead silent.I heard the doorknob start to turn, so I quickly raised my voice and said, "I'll be right out! Just give me a second!"Then I shoved his dad as hard as I could. This time, he didn't push back — he just gave me this weird, knowing smile that made my skin crawl.I scrambled to straighten my clothes, cracked the door open, and slipped out.Max asked why I'd taken so long. I mumbled something about stomach issues. Then he asked if I'd seen his dad."Me? I was in the bathroom the whole time. How would I know?"I forced myself to stay calm, terrified he'd sense something w
