Hey you guys, when did you get here? What are y’all talking about” I asked, crossing my fingers, hoping they weren’t talking about Zion’s paternity.
“You left the office very quickly after closing time, so I came by to check on you, William and Zion. I saw Jacob at the door and we both walked in. How are you feeling, by the way,” he asked, like he didn't just destabilize my whole life by asking about Zion’s paternity a few hours ago
