Erika's POV.

It was in the night already, and Charles was not back. I didn't to ask Raven what was wrong since he said he was going to tell me by himself once he was done solving all the problems.

I'd he couldn't make it, he should manage at least called or something. Did he even know how worried I was about him? He shouldn't do anything that would be a huge risk to his heart.

I didn't know if he was taking note of those little things that could be a huge risk to his heart.

"You have to sleep well this night. You would be taking the surgery tomorrow night." The doctor is informed me, interrupting me from my thoughts while I let out a huge sigh.

I haven't eaten anything for the past few house, and I was told not to do anything till when the surgery would commence. I didn't know why the doctor told them, but it seemed like it was a role that they were meant to follow, and I must get to obey also.

I heard a knock on the door immediately the doctor left, and it was then I saw
