Chapter 40

I spent the rest two days in the hospital doing absolutely nothing. Since I was 'recuperating', I decided to use it to my advantage to laze around and read stories all day without any interruptions. I knew that after I got out of the hospital, things wouldn't be the same again, and I'd probably have to get insanely busy from now on. This meant less time for me, which meant less time to read, which means less time to do absolutely nothing.

I mentally sighed.

It sounded like torture.

Liza visited my room often but left after being ignored by me every single time. From what I heard, little Bea and her had become the best of friends. I was never good with kids, so I haven't managed to get close with the little rug rat yet. Liza said it was mostly because I ignored kids instead of giving them the attention they needed, but I don't see what's so wrong about that.
