Maya's POV

We had just finished getting dressed and were settling into the living room when the door opened. Ashton, Oliver, and Wade stepped inside, followed by two omegas, each pushing a rolling cart.

“I thought we could have lunch here in our dining room before we head out to watch Maya train,” Ashton said as he walked over and kissed Lauren.

I loved how much he adored her. The way he looked at her, touched her, there was no doubt. They were so sweet together. I was genuinely happy they had found each other. Both of my sisters had been blessed with mates who loved them deeply and weren’t afraid to show it.

We made our way to the table as it was being set. Ashton had thought of everything. The omegas had brought up the plates and drinks with the food carts. We had a choice between ravioli and lasagna with meat sauce, and the warm scent of freshly baked bread filled the room. It came with olive oil for dipping or butter for spreading, whatever we preferred. Each of us had a generous

Maya's As we walked toward the training area, I listened to the quiet conversation between Oliver and my mother ahead of us. Oliver carried a duffle bag, and I found myself wondering what was inside. Was he planning to stay closer to us now, in case Maeve showed up again?I knew my mother had already spelled the house. Maeve had even mentioned this morning that she couldn’t get to me, which was reassuring. Still, if things escalated, I could always stay at the packhouse on the Alpha level until Maeve was found and dealt with.Wade and I walked side by side, in the middle of the group. My mother and Oliver were about ten feet ahead, leading the way. She always arrived first to create the dome I trained inside. I hadn’t even attempted to create something that large yet. For now, my focus was purely on learning to defend myself. The rest would come later.“I know what you tried to do for me at lunch, Maya,” Wade said in a low voice, his tone warm but a little guarded. “I appreciate the

Maya's POV Training this morning was actually fun. For once, we didn’t have to deal with the usual glares or passive-aggressive comments while Lauren guided me through the moves. It was a rare relief. Rita and her group were nowhere in sight, no watching, no snide remarks, no drama. I didn’t know why, but I was grateful for the peace. Not that I was worried they would try anything physical. I had learned enough by now to make anyone who came at me regret it. But it wasn’t just about defending myself. I didn’t want to create trouble for Lauren or Ashton. They didn’t deserve to be dragged into whatever backlash I might face for standing my ground. The pack had a strict no-bullying policy, but that didn’t stop it from happening, especially with me being a witch. So, we kept our heads down and focused on training. And every session, I found myself prouder of Lauren. She had a natural gift for teaching, calm, confident, and in complete command of what she was doing. I made sure to follow

Kayla's POV I couldn’t keep it. If anyone found out, I would lose everything, my title, my future. I wasn’t going to throw away my shot at being Luna over one stupid mistake, no matter how attractive he was. So I went into a human city and took care of it.Emma came with me. You’re not supposed to go alone in case there are complications. She kept her mouth shut, because I paid her well and made sure I had something on her. She wouldn’t dare cross me. Still, I made sure there was leverage, just in case. There was a complication. I had only just started to show, but werewolf pregnancies progress faster than human ones. At two and a half months, the fetus was further along than the clinic expected. The procedure was harder. I lost a lot of blood. The doctor told me I needed to come back after a month, She said there could be lasting issues, but I didn’t listen. I just wanted it over. I never went back.Damien never found out, thank the Goddess. I buried the memory deep, pretending it n

Kayla's POVI wanted to tear Damien apart, and Zach too. My own worthless brother just sat there while Damien disrespected me, didn’t say a word in my defense. He acted like I deserved it. Like I had not spent half my life standing by Damien’s side, building him up, supporting him, proving my worth. He was my first. He should know that I am the only one truly qualified to be his mate. I was born Gamma. No one else, no rogue girl with no name or status, would ever be better for him than I am.I’ve always known he had a thing for Maya. I’ve known it since the summer we turned thirteen. He couldn’t hide it, he was sweet to her in a way he never was with anyone else. The pack had tolerated her back then, even though we all knew she didn’t belong here. I kept my real feelings to myself, but my friends agreed. We couldn’t stand her or her sisters. The males in the pack all adored her siblings for some reason. But Damien? He was the only idiot hung up on Maya.It was disgusting that he saw h

Damien's POV “I need to speak with you, Damien,” Kayla snapped as she marched into the room. “Someone told me you got a call from another woman today. If you think I’m going to sit back and let you cheat on me, think again. I’m your Luna. It’s me or no one. You need to try harder to get me pregnant. Now that Maya is gone, you should finally give me a fair chance. You used to try. But ever since you marked me, it’s like you’ve lost all interest.”Her tone shifted into a whine, but I cut her off.“First of all, stay out of my business. Second, I never had real interest in you to begin with. You got what you wanted, Kayla. You’re Luna. So stop whining and stop accusing me of cheating. It was only one time my foot slipped after I marked you, and you know that. But you don’t get to dictate what I do. I’m the Alpha. If I decide someone else will bear my pups, you’ll accept it. You’ll smile and play the role you begged for.”I leaned in slightly, voice low and cold.“And don’t act like you
