17: “What do you think i’d do to you if we were to sleep in the same room?”
“How are you feeling?” I quietly asked my mom who is sitting in front of me and Eaton with a very tired look on her face. Despite her effort to look as well as possible, i can’t help but see that she looks like she hasn’t slept. Her skin is pale and her hair is tied up but messy.
“I’m fine, he talked to me before he left,” she gave us a weak smile and take a sip of her tea.
“Did Toby tell you why?” I asked. I feel really bad for my mom already, but i should know the reason why he decided to leave and go rogue.
Rogues do not have a very good reputation among the packs. Usually they were banished because they have done something terribly wrong, it’s quite rare to find werewolves who leave on their own will.

In the The morning, i was up earlier than usual. My eyes are shot open from the low whispers i am hearing in my head, as if someone is trying to mind-link with me. I squinted my eyes as they adjusted to the brightness coming from the window plastering the whole room.I slowly scanned the whole room and found no one. Eaton is still sleeping comfortably. I woke up with a heavy feeling in my chest. My eyes were weary from all the crying last night.
