(Ashley’s POV)

We almost arrived in Paris. It was already the next morning. I must have fallen asleep all the way since we boarded Philip’s private jet. I blinked my eyes open and saw Teddy sleeping next to Dave. We had told him to pretend that he was Dave’s son.

My son obediently listened to me and never had he questioned why I had often asked him to pretend to be either Finley or Dave’s son. It was as if he liked the idea of having a father figure from both Dave and Finley.

Well, I did name both Dave and Finley as my son’s next of kin anyways, in case something unfortunate was to happen to me. Teddy’s godfathers were both amazing people.

“Are you alright, honey?” I heard Philip asked me a question while holding my hand. I pulled my hand away and fake a smile. He was seated a little to close next to me.

“I’m fine. Philip, please don’t call me that” I did not like him calling me honey as it reminded me of Nikolai.

I recalled the horrible incident of Nikolai punching Dave’s face that
