Xander left to Japan five days ago. I already feel like a pathetic mess. I have become what I promised myself I would never become again…the sad girlfriend…in this case wife…but I miss him so much. It's been a real wake-up call.
Just then my phone rings. It’s Xander.

“How’s the trip going?”
