As Gracie removed her shrug Adam was watching her very closely.

“Isabella, I like the color,” he remarked calmly. “I'll get you a towel to put over the chair cushion the synthetic material tends to stick to you in this unbearable heat.” As he walked away towards the cabin leaving her staring after him in confusion. Somehow he always managed to throw her off balance and it just wasn't fair, Isabella thought plaintively. She had stared at his bare chest as if she had never seen one before.

A wolf whistle interrupted her thoughts. “I like the view, Isabella,” Alex said giving her an appreciative grin.

It might have been a coincidence that Gracie chose that moment to splash water in his face but Isabella was implied to doubt it, as she watched a laughing protesting Gracie try to avoid his attacks, however, she was less inclined to doubt that Gracie has changed at all.

She was still watching the two in the pool when Adam returned carrying several towel
