Chapter 11 Shannon’s Suicide Attempt

John was dead.

Sean and his men had been searching for a week, but there was no sign of John anywhere.

The area where John fell into was known to be inhabited by sharks. According to the search team, the blood from his wound might have drawn the sharks to him, thus making him easy prey. He might have been eaten by the sharks, which was why they could not find traces of his body anywhere.

Shannon knew the reality very well. Her baby, John, was gone.
