a savior?

Zia opened her eyes after not feeling any hands on her.

She saw a large muscled arm stop the lady's hand. She can see his broad shoulders and a scar on his left-hand backside which is slightly visible from the inside of his black vest

"If you have even a bit of shame, you wouldn't be raising your hands on a child

it's expected that this village is filled with selfish and dumbass bastards anyway" he said as he pushed away the lady's hand with a little force ...

The lady caught her hand in pain.

"Will, what are you doing ?" Mr.Harper shouted

"I should ask you the same" he glared at him angrily

Will' is a 30 years old man, who is also the son of Mr.Harper. He distanced himself from the village at 20 and for the past 10 years, he has been living on the mountain near to the village which is a forest away. And that is very close to the "WALL OF DEATH"

He doesn't have a good relationship with his father because he found out about his habit of laying hands on innocent women.

He was feared by everyone in the village because he has a history of fighting a tiger with his bare hands and to prove that he has a 3-paw scar on his face.

He turned back and looked at Zia

"What happened?" he asked softly

she ran back inside her home and brought a book along with her

"he touched me last night," she wrote and he exactly understood what her words meant.

"How dare you accuse him" a lady shouted from the middle

"Accuse?" Will, pronounced angrily and glared at her enough for her to take a step back in fear

"do you think a child will have a reason to say something like that to just accuse him? how low can you all fall?" he shouted angrily

"you will never change," he said, looking at Mr. Harper with a disgusting look

"I have never done something like that" Mr. Harper argued.

Will' ignored him and turned towards Zia again

"pack everything you need, we are leaving this village because you will stay with me from now on," he said and Zia stood there fidgeting

Will, saw her hesitation

"don't worry I am not like that bastard. I will protect you" he said with a smile, and she knew at that moment that she can trust him.

She went inside her home to pack

(meanwhile)

"How dare you address your father with the name"Harper shouted angrily

"I knew you are a bastard and a womanizer and why did my mom leave you too, but honestly laying your hands on a child?

How more disgusting can you be?" he said, looking down at him

"Respect!!!, you are talking with your father and the village head" Harper shouted

"No...not at all, I am talking to a bastard who molested a child just after her mom's death, and you still expect me to respect you?" he asked with a chuckle

Zia came outside with a bag in her hand

will' took the bag from her hand

"come let's go," he said and started walking

He glanced back at Harper

"and as per the money for the firewood, here," he said throwing coins onto the ground and glaring at everyone once again before leaving.

After looking at all the things that happened, everyone has only one thought in their minds

"HE IS SCARY"

The mountain is at the very edge of the end of the human world

Will after leaving the village set up his house on the mountain and living there

He has a large broad muscle shoulder which formed due to the every morning workout he does

He has sharp black eyes that could Pearce into someone's soul just with a look

He is walking fast at his own pace while Zia is running to catch up to him.

He never had someone so small following back of him that he never cared to look back once

Zia has a lot of things going on in her mind

she faced too much in just a single day

As she got lost in her thoughts he slowed down and walked in a daze

she got tripped and fell down on her face she hissed in pain, and she slightly started bleeding at the right end of her forehead along with spraining her ankle and a slight graze on her knee

She raised her head and saw that Will is nowhere to be seen

she got so scared with only the wind sound around the forest

This is the first time that she walked so deep inside the forest that she doesn't know the way to walk

she trembled as the cold breeze touched her skin.

Will pushed the branches of trees and saw the mountain

"We can see the house from the---" as he turned back he didn't find Zia

"Ahh, fuck"

Zia sat down resting her back on the tree

**rustle rustle** she heard something moving in the bushes.

She was scared as she remembered the tiger incident

A rabbit jumped out of the bushes suddenly

[rabbit] she thought and sighed

the rabbit jumped inside another bush and disappeared

"hey kid" will' shouted walking back inside the forest

"damn why couldn't she follow me carefully" he cursed angrily

"maybe I should've made her walk in front of me .kids are such a pain"

"kid, you here ?" he shouted

**rustle rustle**

he immediately took his dagger out as he saw the bushes moving.

He moved slowly one step at a time near and the same rabbit jumped out

"Oh, just a rabbit" he sighed and kept his dagger inside

"Wait, a meal!" he said and threw his dagger at the rabbit.

It moved fast and ran away

"fuck, my luck is so bad today," he said as he walked further inside

"kid where are you" he shouted.

Zia suddenly felt all alone in the forest...

Her eyes slowly started tearing.
