Madam Serena moved closer to the counter and looked at the creature lying on it with full attention. The creature was motionless on the counter with the carcass of its prey still inside it. The blood was mostly out, but there were some in its system, so it’s still a bit red. It was actually a bit uncomfortable to the eyes or normal people like the timid maid in the room, but the scene didn’t affect her mistress at all. The mistress was looking curiously and excitedly at the weird looking creature on the counter. Even the chef and his sous chef were looking at their mistress in confusion from how excited she was despite the captor had told her that it had just crushed a bird in seconds. “Um… Mistress, please do not approach too close to it,” the timid maid with short light blue hair said. She said that while reaching her hand out to stop her mistress, but not all the way because she was afraid she would disturb

Greta looked at him with wide eyes. "H-How do you..." Her reaction was quite strange, but Jai realized that he just hit the jackpot. "Do you?" he asked again. Greta's mind raced with multiple thoughts. But she realized he was waiting for her answer, so she blinked and shook her head to get her attention back. She looked at Jai. "Did Doctor Prime tell you about me?" Jai nodded his head. "Yes. Well, not really. I was asking about–"But before he could finish, she cut him. "Why don't we meet up somewhere to talk about this? Maybe for lunch today. Because I have to get back to my work," Greta told him with a smile that seemed strained. She also raised her right hand in a light push gesture to further imply that she really wanted him to go. Knowing the background story between her and the Doctor, Jai did not push further. He assumed that the girl's behavior could mean that someone was watchin

Jai laughed nervously at her reaction and gestured her to the seat next to him. “Um, would you mind sit down? Maybe we can talk and then I can explain? ”Greta sat next to him, across from the boys who were smiling at her sweetly like good boys they were trying to do.Jai looked at the waitress who was still standing beside their table and was watching silently and stoically. “Um, miss waitress, I’ll order one more drink for this young lady please. Put it on my bill.”The bowl cut boy, Mel, looked at the waitress too. “Oh, oh, Tissa! One plate of cookies for us! Put it on Brother Jai’s bill.”Jai frowned at him, but nodded at the waitress for confirmation. ‘I’m asking them to come here after all.’The waitress left after receiving the confirmation from Jai, and the group of four turned the attention to themselves. Jai and Greta talked to each other while the twins started to eat the

"So... What exactly do you want me to do?" Darrion asked as his friend walked beside him. The blonde had absolutely no idea what his friend was trying to do, but he accepted his friend following him for the moment. He was putting letters ino mailboxes when suddenly one of his friends, Nel, came up behind him and asked him to follow suit. He then found that Greta, the Oakshen family member that Darrion was planning to introduce to Jai, had already met the thunder boy and apparently both of them were planning something to get the rare ingredient for Miria's medicine. It was happening so fast that Darrion was still processing the situation when Greta already started explaining their plan. It resulted in Darrion getting lost in the middle of the explanation, and only agreed to do something for them because he thought it was important."Didn't we explain it to you back at the restaurant?" Jai raised one if his eyebrows and frowned the other.Darrion nodded a b

Taking care of Greta took around twenty minutes. Derra knew how to make her look simple but pretty. She was wearing a yellow floral dress that fitted well with her slim figure. Moreover, she was only slightly below average height which even made her look cute in the dress.Derra accompanied her downstairs to meet with their guests at the living room. Laughter could be heard echoing in the hall. The sound whom belonged to Greta’s father, surprised even Greta herself. Her father had not laughed like this for a few months now. He was barely home before the competition because he had to help with the preparation, helping out the kingdom. But even that still surprised Greta, because he did not laugh that loud that often. They entered the living room, which was a 4x4 meters room filled with couches, a coffee table with a small tea party set on it, and an aquarium.
