Britondii Luca pov I angled my head and peered in awe at the astronomical glass building before me. This was the Monteiro Industries. I had almost waiked then,if all went well I would be an employee at one of the worlds most successful companies.I grinned a face ripping smile and walked into the lobby.I entered the air conditioned monumental space and gazed around as with my head held high I perambulated to the receptionists work desk which screamed costly, money, touch me if you dare! "Excuse me" i interrupted the pretty blonde receptionist who had been typing away furiously at the tablet in her hands showing off her perfectly manicured nails. Absent minded my I stared down at my bitten and chappy ones. I would need to get a manicure if I got the position. I also noted how tight her low bust shi

Britondii Luca pov "Oh my God. I got the job" I repeated in my head like a mantra while I was on my way home in a cab. Even as I paid the driver when we arrived at the apartment complex where I resided, the excited grin was still present on my face. I could see the driver looking peculiarly at me. But who cared what he thought? Let him think what he wanted to. I just got a job at the Monteiro Industries. I had every right to be exhilarated and I had been.As I tipped the driver, I ran across the apartment parking lot to my floor which was the first. I could not wait to give closest chum the great news. After fumbling in my purse for the key I had finally found it and opened the door."Lucas !" I screamed as I dashed into his room."Lucas " I shrieked again and yanked his wireless headset off of his ear. He winced As

Britondii Luca pov "That is correct Mr Chang. The date and time for today's midday meeting has been rescheduled for 2 in the afternoon tomorrow. Mr Monteiro sends his regards and we do apologize for any inconvenience this sudden change of events has caused. Until tomorrow, good day sir"I ended the call with Mr Mackie Chang one of the company's Chinese investors and crossed it off the list.Thoughtlessly,I rolled my eyes. Sebastian Monteiro was truly an arrogant beast. The media had not lied when they had implied he was an animal. He was just as dark, even more so in reality. I recollected his cold demeanor this morning. His behavior was uncalled for. After all he was only introducing me to my duties. He is mighty fine though. Is he not? my subconscious Pointed wiggling her eyebrows suggestively.I rolled my eyes a second time. That much was true. He had a v

Britondii Luca pov I entered the apartment, a wide grin plastered on my face one which had been present since I collected my pay check.I had almost fainted when I saw the amount, I checked it more than one time to ensure my eyes were working properly; they were.I had heard the Monteiro Industries paychecks were hefty but seeing was believing and that I had.I rushed into my best friend's room and as usual, he was laying casually in his bed with his Golden headphones on, listening to music. I swear that boy lived too easily. John had spoiled him rotten. Whenever I teased them about it, John's reply would be, "you know what they say sis , a wife's place is in the home. ""Lucas, " I shouted and slapped his bare arm."Bitch" he yelled pulling his headphones off and throwing them down on his unmade bed. "If y

Sebastian Monteiro povI downed the last of my drink and telephoned the accounting department. Usually it were my personal assistant who handled the calls however this one in particular I voluntarily completed on my own. There had been a problem which demanded answers. Now. "Good morning Mr Monteiro. " the head of department's assistant chirped."Tell your damn boss I need him in my office this instant" I ordered and slammed -- hard --the phone onto the desk top. What was this nonsense?Had I been so distracted lately that I was unaware of the company's antics?*When the drumming sounded onto the door, I barked a gruff "come in. "Brian entered the office his face already red
