《Taming The Wild Alpha》全部章節：第 21 章 - 第 30 章

“Yeah, rich people are crazy.” I decided to coax more information from Trish without being too suspicious. “By the way, how long has Ryker been an Alpha anyway?” In my head, I drew a timeline of what Ryker and Eros had told me and what I would learn from Trish. “He looks quite young for an Alpha,” I added even though I had no clue what was the minimum required age for someone to be an Alpha or if such a thing did exist. I merely took a guess since my dad had been Leonidas’s Beta and he was in his early forty, so I took a wild guess that Leonidas must be in his forties too. “About five years, give or take.” Trish shrugged one shoulder. “I remember my uncle being so mad when he found out that Dmitry accepted the Beta position in The Ethereal.”  “Why?” I asked curiously. “I thought Beta is quite high in the hierarchy.” “It is,” Trish agreed before heaving a sigh. “But not when you’re meant to be an Alpha.”  Wait, what? Dmitry Vashkov was suppos

Eros POV “Are you sure this is a good idea?” Young Seb asked for the dozenth time today. In his defense, I had been asking the same question for the last few hours too, and to be honest, I did not know the answer. “You just broke up with Crystal, Man. Your morale is still fragile, your emotion is a mess.”  “Dude, you are being too much.” I rolled my eyes at him, trying to shrug off his comment. “You should sign up and become the pack’s psychiatrist or something.” I picked up my motorcycle’s key from the

A deep frown formed on my forehead as I tried to gather everything I had heard about Ryker Cromwell. The Ethereal was our rival pack so we always kept tabs on whatever was going on in the North, although not as much as in the West, where the Night Walkers ruled. And to be frank, we had monitored Ryker’s older brother, Aiden Cromwell, since he was supposed to be their next Alpha so the younger brother has never been our interest. Being put in the spotlight, I could only remember that Ryker used to be the easy-going, devil-may-care second son, the one who had always had more fun with parties and ladies because he had been born knowing that he would never have to inherit the responsibilities. Until the unthought-of had become reality and he’d had to step in his brother’s shoes.

Oddly enough, Cindy and her gang had left me alone. Or to be precise, I hadn’t seen her for the last five days. She and her cronies hadn’t come to school and as much as I was curious as to what had happened to her, I considered myself lucky and didn’t bother to ask anyone. With Cindy’s absence though, Davina decided to come back to school for good. It seemed that her so-called ‘fever’ was only because she was afraid to face Cindy and the pregnancy rumor was true. “I didn’t know that he was Cindy’s boyfriend,” claimed Davina although I didn’t one-hundred percent believed her because Cindy had been parading him around in nearly every party. “We fell madly in love, Xy, and before I know it, I’m pregnant.” She sobbed and I put my arms around her, trying to calm her down. “What are you going to do?” “I don’t know,” she breathed out. “Okay, then we’ll figure it out, okay?” I looked at my friend and suddenly felt really bad for her. She was only eighteen and she was scared. “Please don

I stayed for a while with Dmitry, drinking and looking at the night sky. We didn’t really talk, instead, we enjoyed each other’s company in this comfortable silence. Dmitry finished most of the drink as if it was water and not Russian vodka — probably one of the strongest liquors there was, while I only took a sip here and there, mainly because I still wanted my head attached to my neck when I woke up in the morning. After a while, I decided to head back inside. “I’m gonna head back inside. Someone needs to make sure none of these punks break anything.”
