Taming The Wild Alpha のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 41 - チャプター 50

Ryker’s POV

I honestly thought Miles would come defending his sister and perhaps even challenged me to a duel or something— I’d read online that some werewolves did that in order to protect someone’s honor. Yet he did none of that, instead, he laughed. Uncontrollably and his face was full of mirth. Alana threw daggers at her brother while her hand was holding a handkerchief to her nose.

I nearly choked on chocolate rice puff and dried berries. “W-what?” His silver eyes caught mine and he looked as if he was trying to understand me or something. “He is charming and closer to your age so I understand the appeal here.” A little frown appeared in between his brows, giving a little indication that he was trying hard to think of what to say. I decided to simply listen while I ate my cereals. “Judging by the ladies’ reaction, I know that he is good-looking too. And he is really a kind man, there’s no doubt about it there. I know him, I watched him growing up. He’s okay, I guess. Or well, maybe one even considers him as a catch.” That was when I could no longer maintain the blank expression I’d been giving him. Was he serious? I wasn’t sure whether he was trying to discredit Miles or praise him. I wasn’t even sure where this conversation was heading until I heard what he said next. “But you should know that Miles might have a mate out there. He hasn’t found her yet but one

Thinking that I had some sort of magical power was bizarre but witnessing said power and actually wielding it was even crazier. I’d gone through a number of self-doubts in my life just like the next person but this one was the hardest pill to swallow. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do about it. Did I need a mentor? Would I become an apprentice of another witch in order to be able to learn how to control my power? What was my power really? Was it just telekinesis or something more? What else could I possibly do? These questions only added to the piles of things that I needed to figure out. I’d gone to sleep and yet by the time I woke up in the morning, I still had it. I tried using the red smoke to open the curtain and it worked, proving to me that it wasn’t just a dream last night. Well, the part where Alana possibly had or would murder someone was still a dream. Fortunately, after that horrible nightmare and actually experiencing being Alana The Killer, I hadn’t had any dreams an

“Eros, it’s me. Xyrra,” I tried. The man who was standing right in front of me looked every bit like my best friend and yet at the same time, he didn’t. I couldn’t explain it or pinpoint what it was that looked different because physically he looked like Eros Adler yet I felt like he wasn’t Eros. “I don’t know you and I don’t know who this Eros person is,” said the man, frowning. His gaze moved to my hand which was still holding his wrist and I quickly let it go. “Xy.” Miles came closer, stealing a glance at the man before focusing his attention on me. “Maybe you got the wrong person,” he muttered in a low voice. “No, I’ve grown up with Eros. I know what he looks like.” I stared at the man, giving him a once over then my eyes landed on the brown shirt he was wearing underneath his black blazer. I recognized his clothes. He’d once left them behind at my house when he’d had a sleepover. My mind instantly recalled what had happened before. “I can prove it. That shirt you’re wearing, at
