Becca thundered and I've never seen her so angry my entire life. It had me wondering what I did wrong.Henry clutched his chin as he gets up from the ground, glaring at me. "What the hell was that for man" he groaned."You were trying to make a pass at my girl" I grit my teeth and Becca flings her hands up in the air with utter annoyance."That's it! I'm done with you doing this" She muttered to herself before trying to walk out of the garden but I grab her hand pulling her to me."Where are you going?""Inside because I don't

To Have Her Whipped

JACOB POVI woke up to an empty bed this morning and it felt so weird because I'm used to waking up with Becca in my arms, except when she needs to hurry to work early but now I just know she's trying to get away from me. I don't know how else I can prove to her that I'm sorry.I'm contemplating what to do with myself when the alarm I set reminds me to start getting ready for the wedding. A Second Proposal

BECCA POVMy heart skipped one-two-three times when I see Jacob in his maroon suit, his hair perfectly combed and a small smile on his face. He's so handsome and a gorgeous man I feel suddenly blessed to have a man like him in my life. And the expression on his face as he runs his eyes up and down my body is priceless. The nervousness I was feeling a while back is gone now and I walk up to the alter, a smile on my face but I try to hide it. Henry left my hand and goes to stand next to Jack while I wait for Michelle to show up. I stare at Jacob again in the crowd to find he's already staring at me. Fuck me! He looks even more gorgeous now than a minute ago.The music changes for Michelle and everyone stands. She's so pretty and her smile light up the whole room as she walks toward us, her hand round her dad's arms. I suddenly feel sad knowing my dad would

Dinner With the Parents

BECCA POVI stare at myself in the mirror, wearing a casual silk satin slip dress. It's been a week since we came back from Baltimore for Michelle's wedding. A lot had happened since then. Jeff called and said they finally tracked Ernest's car and it was parked by the side of the road, my guess is he abandoned it because he knew he would be followed. That's progress I guess, tracking his car. Soon, I hope they find him too.Secondly, Miranda Joe called me. You know, the big fashion designer and goddess in the industry. It was an email at first reminding me of the show where I get to display my dresses so I called her back asking her when? And she said the fashion show was in four months. So I popped the news to her telling her I was pregnant and she congratulated me."I guess when I'll be seeing you next you'll be heavily pregnant then," Miranda said."Th

Bang, Bang

JACOB POVUnlocking my car, I go straight to the trunk getting out all the bags. I can't even remember what we bought, but Becca kept throwing things into the basket and I let her because she was smiling all through which made me happy.I shut my trunk and reached in to get her cinnamon when the garage goes pitch black. Pausing, I take my head out of the car to stare around me but I couldn't see shit. What the fuck?! Then I quickly remember Becca and I became worried to know if she was ok on her own. Digging out my phone from my pocket, I dial her number countless times but she doesn't pick, and Fuck I panic like hell!Dumping all the grocery bags back in the car, I hurry to the elevator but then groaned out in frustration! The power went out so the elevators won't work. So I take the emergency stairs, jogging up as fast I can until I get to my door, and I'm a pa

All Good Things Last

BECCA POVI take their talk as an advantage to grab a nearby chair, walking to Ernest, I hit him on the head and he rolled off Jacob but quickly grabs the gun pointing it at Jacob again. Jacob spit out blood before struggling to his feet, I try to run into his arms but Ernest points the gun at me. "Stay where you are" he threatened before pointing at Jacob again. "I always get what I want," He smirked and his hands settle on the trigger. My heart skips a bit when I see he's going to shoot Jacob and without thinking, I run in front of them going to hug Jacob.Bang! Bang!I wait for the pain to come, for the tragic scream or something... anything...but there was nothing. I didn't feel any pain. What happened? I feel Jacob's arms go round my waist as we both crumple to the floor and I let out a sob.Lights flashed outside the garage

My Love

Three Months LaterBECCA POV"Wow, you look, amazing!" Reid complimented me immediately I step out of the dressing room. We're in Milan for the fashion show. The one I was invited for and I'm so excited to show off my new designs. The other ones are being displayed by models right now as we speak."Thanks""Wait till Jacob sees you in it, he'd swoon" Reid chuckled and I smile. The two had grown fondly with each other and it's so cute when I see them talking sometimes. Speaking of Jacob, he came with me to Milan and we're lodging at a hotel just close to here. My heart skips a little bit as insecurities begin to creep in. I face Reid."Are you sure the gowns are beautiful? I mean... people might not like them""Who gives a fuck what people think? Your maternity designs are way awesome. And

Epilogue

BECCA POV Sitting by the beach with smiles on my face, I watch as Jacob played with our one year plus baby boy, Jasper in his arms. He was sitting a little bit away from me and building little sand statues. Yes, my life was at its happiest now and I love moments like this. After we had Jasper, four months later we had our wedding just our family and friends in the backyard of our mansion. We waited until Jasper was a year and strong enough so we could go on our first family vacation. Now we're here in the Turks and Caicos. It's been a year since Jacob moved to NY and even for himself, an office sited there. Indeed this one year has been the best of my life "Mama..." Jasper gurgled in front of me snapping me out of my haze. He's standing in front of me, a small smile on his face before Jacob sweeps him off his feet making him laugh hard. "This little
